- I have created quite a few indoor things in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, and I was thinking about what to do next when I thought of the idea of enclosing an entire theme park within a building.
It would have been extremely easy to just build a theme park, and then build a roof over the top of it, and I wanted to do something a bit more unusual.
This was the result, a theme park contained within a single building, but instead of building outwards and using more land, I built upwards. Basically this is a theme park on three levels.
The ground level (level 0) contains the following rides:
The Merry Go Round
The Crooked House
The Gravitron
The Top Star
The 3D Cinema
The Motion Simulator
The Tagada
The Trampoline
The Twister
The upper level (level 1) contains the following rides:
The Chair Swing
The Rip Tide
The Meteorite
And even a small roller coaster!
"The Inner Mine"
Ratings:
Excitement -- 7.26
Intensity -- 7.25
Nausea -- 4.16
The problem with the wooden wild mine roller coaster is that although the coaster type does allow you to have less space between levels of track, when filming, it looks as if the ride is going through the upper levels of track. You have to remember that the camera for filming is actually above the peeps. That is why I filmed from such a low vantage-point.
The roof of the building contains the following rides:
The Giant Slide
The Observation Tower
The Launched Free-fall.
The Swift, a small floor less Shuttle Coaster.
Ratings:
Excitement -- 6.73
Intensity -- 5.24
Nausea -- 2.36
And of course, the star attraction -- "The Building Dipper"
This is a Vertical Drop roller coaster. The ride plummets into the building, right down to the ground floor, and back up again, twice!
Ratings:
Excitement -- 6.06
Intensity -- 3.76
Nausea -- 1.71
The building has two stair-cases, and two lifts to transport people between the floors.
After I constructed this building, I placed a few other buildings around it to enhance the scenery. I also constructed a "sea front" area, to make it look like it is next to the sea.
As usual, no custom scenery or cheats were used.

swear those road markings are custom scenery and the glass walls (i know theres aglass wall pack included in the game - but theres the vodhins glass wall set too).

alright, you have to raise the ground up around the shape of the ride you want to put, making a ring of raised ground, then fill it with water, and then you can put the ride there, and make sure the ground on the bottom of the ride is at the height you want it because after you lower the water the ground will stay at the height it's at.
You just gotta love Alloria's indoor parks.
Yellow coaster rocks! But can you just poast some individual coasters? I mean, I LOVE every single video you make.
I admire how you never use custom scenery!!

1. This should be made in real.
2. This is awesome.

i make and elevator, put glass all around it, and then make stairs around the glass... it makes a good scene from inside and out, especially if there are a bunch of people on the stairs...

Actually, there is a HUGE indoor theme park there in the "Circus Circus" hotel, with the worlds largest indoor looping coaster, a good ride. and I do think it is bigger than mine!

this must of took a hell alotta time to make, im trying to make my first indoor ride right now and it takes forever to match up the roof with the angle the game is

Adventuredome in Las Vegas. Built on 2 levels inside a giant red building. Even includes a looping coaster.

it's in the wild extention pack under thrill rides, and I think it starts with a "t". I forget the name though.
I like to create a cealing before adding the upper paths. the flat roof from the "Office" set is the way to go.
You inspire me so much, this morning i started work on my indoor park, the ground level is practically done, but i am not sure how to do the 1st floor, i mean do you jut use path throughout (thats raised off the ground) or find some scenery where the path will stay on it like normal (please if you could help, and also i have no custom stuff :( )

Actually, if you put terrain blocks below it, the supports re-appear.
Look up "Fisherman's Ghostmine II" and you will find a NEW most awesome thing you've ever seen in RCT. This is pretty good, though.

@zhuzhuclubpenguin2 To build indoors. Simply make what you want. Then get loads of scenery that you want like walls and such and stack them together. (if you don't know how to stac something. Use shift to change the height. Ctrl does something to speed up this process but i forgot what it does and it fails for me every time...)

Do build first the cube then the coasters or do you build first the coasters and then the building arround?

you don't need a disk to play RCT3...
when it's installed you can play without the disc
I think this is RCT3 Platinum, with expansion packs (wild and Socked).

I used both expansion packs, and the building consists of a variety of different building sets from both packs.
