    These builds are so pleasant for to watch. And your channel is wonderful well of information. Thank you!

    Thank you for incorporating the logistics bots in your design. I've been trying to figure out how they will be useful beyond a distribution hub, so this gave me some ideas (warpers too). Great job using the pilers (stackers) to bridge the gap between mk 2 and mk 3 belts. Mk 3 are so exspensive at that stage.

    A tutorial on how to use the production statistics menu would be awesome. With all the stockpiling in ILS's it is not obvious for me to identify particular bottlenecks.
    One on logistics drones and carriers would be cool too. Which logistics stations need to be equipped and which are optional/overkill?

    Love this build for the Solar Sails! I've been watching the VLOG's (on NilausTV) on your recent Logistics runs, and they are great as always. Love the new Polar Hub design, and looking forward to the Small Carrier Rocket build. Thanks!

    which video is it that you show how to use your new blueprints. im having issues figuring out what goes where and how to connect them all. Not the starter hub all the rest of the manufacturing. thanks

    Thank you for your short and to-the-point videos! I actually just started a minimal resources run, and was wondering if you had any tips for this? My home system is really low on silicon and titanium by normal standards, of course, and I was looking for priorities to ensure I don't get stuck in my home system and travelling between stars without warpers. Did it once for the achievement, don't want to do it again!

      I have a minimal resource, 64 star, node that I am playing. There's no way you'll run out of anything except for monopolar magnets.
      Just make sure you get your Vein Utilization down below 20% before you completely mine out the third start system.

      @@Chaun1998 good advice!
      Yeah, even in the normal resource abundance settings I could see myself running out of unipolar magnets lol. I got 1 black hole and 1 neutron star, and the magnets only generate around those. So instead of using them in the advanced recipe for particle containers, I'm basically only going to use them for plane smelters I guess.

    So I am curious as to why you insist on building locally, mid game and late game?
    I have a forge planet and a factory and mall planet. I'd be happy to share my save if you want to take a look. All raw materials come into the forge planet and are smelted into basic components. Those get shipped over to whatever tower needs that material. I have one tower that builds each component, those are arranged north to south on three of the meridians, with the production lines running east to west. Then my mall takes up a bit more than 1/4 of the northern tropical zone (first zone next to the equator, because I don't like building over the equator even though you can)
    I haven't quite scaled everything up yet. Only making 500 ish Universe Science Matrix per second, but I am pretty sure I have enough room to scale up to 1200, though I may have to move the science production and usage to the original planet. Should probably do that anyway. It's messy.
    Once I have Interstellar Logistics Towers travel time becomes irrelevant, and just part of the buffer in the towers.

    please add numbers to the videos. I watch them intermixed with other lets plays and if i miss one by accident it takes a while to go looking to find out which one i missed and find where to put it not a real problem but just a request for us that have to watch backlog content do to RL time constants :) (same reason I can't catch Twitch streams :(
    thanks

      Check the Playlist. Adding numbers kill views because people will not add a stand-alone tutorial if it is called #46

      @@Nilaus that's fine :) sounds reasonable all good.
      Why I asked was one of the Tubers I watch had stopped putting numbers as well as any normal naming convention and I didn't realize he was putting up the game (he did other type of videos as well) so I thought I'd ask.

    Your complaint about the word pile saying it isn't a pile, it is a stack. The definition of a pile is to place things on top of one another. A stack is just another name for a neat pile. With that being said, It would be better being called a stacker instead of a piler. Very strange choice by the dev.

  • @BlackxesWasTaken
    @BlackxesWasTaken ปีที่แล้ว

    I really enjoy your videos. But what is quiet annoying is your sense of "This needs to be called this way because I want it to be called this way"
    And instead of being open to developers who go for a certain naming convention, you simply talk them down
    and say "This is bad because I don't like it" and not "This is bad because it rationally doesn't make sense"
    Here is the meaning of pile: a heap of things laid or lying one on top of another.
    Exactly what that "Stack" you describe is.
    Dyson Sphere Program is a futuristic game which leans on having high quality words
    Not "Amount" but "Quantity". Not "Booster" but "Proliferate". It makes sense they used that name for that "stack"

    • @asureaskie
      @asureaskie ปีที่แล้ว +2

      "Pile" implies a certain degree of disorder in that context, while "stack" is more accurate to what we have in game.
      I suspect the other issue is that, to an engineer, a "pile" is something driven into a soft substrate to allow construction on top, where the pile (typically a large cylindrical object, like a log) is functionally transmitting the load of the surface construction to bedrock. Hence the origin of the "piledriver." The more you know :)

    • @BlackxesWasTaken
      @BlackxesWasTaken ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@asureaskie Not sure if mocking or seriously just wanted to clarify. "The more you know"
      For some reason I feel like the community here is thinking quiet high of themselves.
      Anyhow, thanks for the info. I still stay to the part of "Let the devs chose their naming" when its reasonable and nothing wrong with it

    • @asureaskie
      @asureaskie ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BlackxesWasTaken Not mocking. I completely understand where you're coming from; I just have a tendency to play Devil's Advocate in these situations, where I think both perspectives have validity to their views.
