Tribute bands need respect. They are the real fans who often bring us big bands back to the small venues and give the feel of the great bands at the inception which most of us missed.
Having seen Ghost live and after finally seeing Host live last year, I was absolutely floored at how good Host’s drummer is. Mind blowing. As good as Ghost’s. Would not be surprised if Tobias snaps this guy up.

I have a feeling that the reason why this song has never been played live is because Martin Persner might've written it. It to me sound more like a dark Magna Carta Cartel song rather than a Ghost song
A few songs have had help from Martin and yet they're still played live. It's probably more because Ghost doesn't change their setlist for a tour unless they're doing a new tour. Tobias therefore has to choose which songs from the new album, previous hits and a few rare songs to put on the setlist for each concert. Zenith is an bonus. It's also pretty slow and ballady probably doesn't translate well into a live show. At least not a big arena rock show with 20 songs in it. All of these factors play into why it's not been played live yet. Also to add: As more and more songs get released, and a lot more songs are added to the hit song pile. There's going to be less and less room for rarer songs to be played. Therefore a lot of songs fall by the wayside in an artists/bands career. Think of Genesis, Death Knell, Elizabeth, Per Aspera Ad Inferi, Body And Blood, etc.
An excerpt from a post on the MCC facebook page on the origins of the guitar work in this tune: "MCC SONG STORIES # 5 - THAT IT IS ALREADY TOO LATE TO LEAVE This song originates from a series of riffs created way back in maybe 1998, created by Martin when trying to find his way around writing picking-patterns that was based on drone tones. Funny enough, another ”riff” from that same time is the intro/vers/bridge pattern later used for Ghost’s ”Zenith” in 2015: a riff also heavily reliant on its drone tones."
Yes! This snare sound seems like an 8-inch from kid's kit. I know it's live but daaaayumm! Good job though. Vocals on this are tough bc the original had effects mixed.

It's very difficult to make a latex mask move like a silicone mask (what the original is made out of) they're just trying their best with what they have as silicone masks are very expensive.

Pretty rad seeing this now. Used to be such a huge ghost fan when I discovered them in 2013 And then Prequelle ruined their image and sound IMO. But this song gives me hope. Let's hope their new album takes them back to an ethereal groovy satanic psychedelia.
I am absolutely against performing other people's songs in exactly the same arrangement. in my opinion this is simply theft, fraud, plagiarism and misleading fans. It's one thing to make a cover, but it's another thing to outright steal a performance. since you play well together, create your own project inspired by the band Ghost because it is unfortunately unfair. I'm sorry, but people who support such behavior are unfortunately co-responsible for stealing from the team. it's exactly the same as the originals on Alie Express... very bad.
