A new song! And an adventurous one too. Thank you. Contrary to a lot of bands' fears, hearing new songs live will NOT stop the fanbase buying the new album. It will more likely increase sales. Case-in-point: We heard Ted the Mechanic and I Got Your Number live before Purpendicular and Bananas were issued. And I knew half the songs from UFO's Misdemeanor album a year before release. Bought all those albums knowing some great songs were in store.
If there’s anyone that can do John lords compositions justice, it’s got to be the maestro Sir Don airy who was really a big contribution to some of those early Ozzy osbourne songs on his first few albums with Randy Rhoads and Bob daisley and played his ass off on the diary of a madman tour in 1981-1982 The intro to Mr Crowley might have been his invention!!!!!!!
Not impressed. Maybe the recording lacks depth. And I feel its weird he tries to blend his playing with a Morse sound. Dont recall Morse doing that. How terrible a choice he was he was very clearly showing his sound, and only copying Blackmore in certain parts.

Guitar solo a little bit Morse in the beginning than Simon McBride. Great song!
It shouldn't be surprising. Steve put his stamp on the band and changed their sound in the autumn years. Bravo, Simon McBride.
Wow!! Thank you so much for posting this!
Perfect strangers not stranglers is a John Lord song composed and maybe written by him the maestro himself!!!!R.I.P.
Clear sound and very good recording. What is your recording device?
Just my I-Phone and a steady hand.
I wish they stick to smaller venues, easier for new/ old songs to come across
Deep purple la légende,j'y étais, super concert , public un peu amorphe dommage 🥴
= 1 This might be DP's most melodic album.
03:50 - 04:52 is a very nice rock guitar thingy, best part of the song for me (in this live version).
