1 kg chicken cut into halves
3 cups basmati rice, washed and soaked for 20 minutes
2-3 tbsp arabic masala powder
1" cinnamon stick
2-3 dried lemons
3 cardamoms
2 bayleaves
2 tbsp minced garlic
3 sliced onions
3 chopped tomatoes
4 tbsp cooking oil
salt to taste
For toppings;
1/2 cups cashew nuts
3tbsp. golden raisins
For brushing chicken;
3 tbsp. heated cooking oil
1 tsp chili powder
2 tsp paprika
