Thank you so much for the video! This helps me a lot because I'm a new player starting to get into TCG from Master Duel. I've been binge watching your content to catch up with the meta haha. I currently run a pure zoodiac deck with lots of hand traps and tech cards so these videos are awesome. I was wondering, what are your thoughts on D-shifter? Sorry, I'm pretty new to the game, so an Ash can negate branded fusion even if branded lost is on the board because it negates the effect not the activation, but why can't infinite impermanence, infinite impermanence also says it negates 'the effects', is it because it says "for the rest of this turn"?? I don't get it.

@@MSTTV does it do something against dragonlink or allure despia as well? Also the question if it's even worth against abc. Only for buster and driver no?
That is a good question. After playing so many games with SS and vs SS. That Ash, if their combo goes fully through, allows for an invaluable recovery piece that would extend the games length or change their search if they drew into what chixiao was going to search. If since there is a chain block, you can't touch the chixiao, unless you need the ash for a normal summon, you at least traded the ash for a card vs holding on to a card that will serve no purpose when it comes back to your turn.
@@MSTTV honestly if the only thing I could ash was a moye draw, I would just hold my ash for later in the game. I would focus on breaking their board and then hold my ash for their comeback play (ashuna, ecclesia, emergence, etc). Sometimes it’s better just to keep an ash if the opponent doesn’t give you any good choke points to hit rather than just use it because it’s burning a hole in your hand.
@@PhuckedUpPhilosophy it's not that it's burning a whole, it's that I couldn't use it and they got a stronger board which later I can't use it. It would be nice to hold for an ashuna if they went for taia. But I worry more about if I game becomes a 1 card difference. They drew into an extra hand trap or called by. From time to time it has occurred enough that SS isn't a super Grindy deck. I don't expect to go base turn 3 without deciding a victor.
I would like to point out to tcg players that "baiting" is different than "finessing" your opponent and tombox is using the term wrong in this video. Kind of a knit-pick but one to mention.

It's good until... Dracoback bounces it
Dracoback certainly is the concern.
Sword can play around Collector/Nib with the Dracoberserker as well
Nib just clears the board and doesn't give token. Would argue I want my Nib to get banished.

If they are playing correctly, i.e. chain blocking, you should pretty much never be able to Ash them. Veiler would be much more powerful against them.
They are chain blocked super hard.
Veiler requires that they don't drop advent of journey.
