Awesome vid…I remember reading this story in graphic novel form and later in paperback novel form…would have been a way better film series in my opinion than the AvP we got in live action although I really appreciate Wolf Predator from Requiem 💯🤙🏽

Regardless of the choice on a Male or Female lead, the concept you present is pretty decent for the Predator movie franchise as with many others I’ve heard. Thanks for your video.

Yes, I think this would be a very good movie. It’s got a good storyline and if it was a movie, I’d definitely go and see it.

Unfortunately this will never be developed into a series of films. Mainly because these days there's a lot of incels who dislike ANY female lead but also because Machiko is often torn and unsure of herself. Taking time to grow and not automatically dominating every scenario, which a lot people find offensive for no good reason. Just like Ripley. They knew how to write strong female characters whilst making the human condition a main part of that. We still get some good ones from time to time however there's just too many radical, "all or nothing" positions people hold on both sides of the extremes.
They should make first part of A v. P like that.

The first 3 books of Omnibus AVP then got the comics from Dark Horse. No doubt she's a movie.

Most "Strong female roles" are obnoxious and unrealistic and rarely pick an actress incapable of playing a bad@ss role.

I'd love to see a great Predator movie about Machiko but for me I want it done right!... the one thing that's kinda pee'd me off with 20th century is that they got crappy directors and just made the a few of the Predator movies and just totally butchered them just to make a buck.
I remember the original script for the first AvP tried to follow this storyline from the dark horse comic but some how it was turned into what we got.

The original AvP story should have been adapted and made over the rather mediocre AvP and AvP: R. Missed opportunity.
And the Earth Wars comics should have been made into 2-3 movies instead of Alien³ and Resurrection
It would be a great and inspirational movie for the Women in our Armed Service Branchs!
If this movie were made, I would be the target market; a mid 40’s family man with three teenage boys. If I want to go, that’s 4 other people that will go. With that said, 😏 Kinda had enough of the strong female characters, bro. If there is any man bashing or agenda driven 💩 in the movie I’m not going and ya just lost 5 ticket sales.
