Could this method possibly work on 2017 Honda Accord sport? Have one wheel stud broke & another that's stripped on driver side just happened today while installing spare tire SMH😞
If you were able to get the old stud out without trimming off an edge, was it absolutely necessary to trim off the new one? Possibly it won't pass inspection in Virginia if it has been trimmed.
I agree. Makes no sense that he could get the old one out with just a bit of interference but then felt the need to grind off the edge of the new stud. And I would not drive a car with a stud ground like that.
@@devineyfajr I didn’t want to damage the thread of the new stud so grinding it will make the stud go in with not damage. I’m sure you can still install it with out grinding but just didn’t want to take the risk
Great video! I found your channel through Stephen A. and Rosa. I have 2 CR-V's, 2003 and 2007. Both are 4WD. I was considering a lift for the 2003 CR-V for better off road performance since I live in the Mojave Desert. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
How do you prevent the front wheel from spinning freely? I was replacing two studs on my '04 Honda Element but the front wheel just kept spinning so I ended up having to hit them in place from behind with a sledge.
Hey guys ! First off great content! - I was hoping to ask you guys a question that I can’t find a answer for anywhere on the net- I just bought a 2004 element awd ex and my dog lights don’t work. The factory button is there but doesn’t turn green when pressed and the lights aren’t going on..:( my question is - where is the fuse or relay for those factory ? It’s not by the obd terminal like some others have found - any help would greatly be appreciated - Ask because - you guys seem to be Honda element jedi!!! :) I dig all your stuff - and hope to meet you guys at a meet up some day soon.. I’ll be doing full time living in mine once the build is done- Again thank you!
@@BigFootelementlife hi, first check the bulbs , other thing you can do it should have a fuse or the relay, I have a installation video of it in my channel where you can see where those are located
You think that 1/2" impact can free my seized bolt on my rear struts (in the rust belt) or do I just cut? My Makita 3/8" impact wouldn't do it. Best way to cut? Coming to the east coast any time soon? :)
Miguel is such a GEM to the community!!🤗
🙂✌️
yes! agree 100%
Your man knows what he is doing. Any mech that wants you to lube the caliper slider pins is the one you want.
I just bought an '06 EX-P 5 Speed and it has a broken lug on the back wheel, this video is going to save me a ton of money.👍
Amazing! You make everything look so effortless.

Man, Miguel made it look so easy.
Thank you 🙏
OMG good thing I found this. Been searching on yt and couldn't find how. This save me a lot. Thank you!

I have 2 studs I need to replace due to incorrect lug nut sizing. How do I know which size studs to get?
I posted some Amazon links or you can buy them at autozone (provide year of your element )
Thank you so much Miguel you save me lots of money.
Yw 🙏
Great Video love the explanations
I just broke a stud off today while checking pad depth. Wonder what they will quote me to replace it in the shop.
I replaced it myself. Passed inspection.

@@c0pyimitati0n you can do one wheel at the time without lifting both sides, or use a brake pedal depresor
You just saved me lot of$$$
Is there rear done the same way? Just snapped one in the rear and need to replace it.
@@sudolg123 I’ll have to make a video of that as soon as somebody needs that repair. I think it could be possible but need to try
Great job🙏
Just as I ordered new studs.❤
Good choice!
What size did you get? I need to replace 2 of mine but unsure on the exact fitment needed.
@@wizzdumb_610 I posted some links for the parts 👍
