This is my barb in chaos sanctuary. Only 50% MF but I'm mainly using him for rune finding in CS + Travincal. Mercenary had andariels + treachery + reaper's toll, the usual merc setup. This was on battle.net.

Hey man 2 questions, is the ebotd spear better then 2x grief pb, and how to you ww without going up to the target and swinging on them, this second one i have a lot of trouble with.
Double grief will do more damage, I just like ebotd spear for the range and price. Ebotd is cheaper. And here is how you WW without swinging on the enemies. Step 1. Make sure loot is hidden, so not holding the show loot key or loot toggled off. Step 2. When you start whirlwinding, make sure your first whirlwind is not targeting any monster. You can click away from the monster or past them. They just can't be highlighted (no healt bars on the top of the screen) Step 3. HOLD the button down. Move your mouse over to your next destination during the original whirlwind. You can see where I hover my mouse when I start whirlwinding in the video. As long as your first whirlwind didn't have a target highlighted, loot is not shown and you keep holding the button down your whirlwinds will be smooth. If you run out of mana (from something like manaburn) let go of your right click, drink a potion and start over from step 1. Hope this helped. I should mention. You can do this even when loot is shown, but if your mouse goes over any loot it doesn't matter if you did it right, you can again start namelocking and swinging at the enemies. So whirlwind first, loot after
@@fami2k1 i re watched your video a few times and noticed you have ww on right click so i moved mine there and used the tech you explained and it made a world of difference man, thanks for your help
War Pike can't hit the fastest whirlwind attack speed breakpoint. The numbers on the war pike look higher and you hit harder, but the actual DPS is a lot lower since you're missing the last attack speed breakpoint. That's why I went with the ghost spear. Fastest whirlwind breakpoint + same range as war pike.

I just swap my chest to a skullders with UM socketed when I want more mf.

War Pike can't hit the fastest whirlwind attack speed breakpoint. The numbers on the war pike look higher and you hit harder, but the actual DPS is a lot lower since you're missing the last attack speed breakpoint. That's why I went with the ghost spear. Fastest whirlwind breakpoint + same range as war pike.
