Let's take a look at my Halloween haul of Antiques, Thrifted items and Boutiques finds! I share with you all the places I shopped, as well as a couple frustrations...

I loved everything you showed!!! I was an Avon lady from 1979 through 1987 so my favorite was the little tiny pumpkin with the ghost (it brought back memories). So glad I found your channel !!! My birthday is 10/30 my late husband also born on 10/30 and our first child was born on 10/30, so Halloween has always been special.
I'm so glad this video brought back some lovely memories for you 💕 And wow! That can't be just a coincidence...It's like it was meant to be 😍
Blow molds are actually super easy to repaint. You take spray paint and spray it on some cardboard you use as a palette, then use a brush to paint it on the parts you need to. If there’s cracking, you can use a heat gun to reconnect the pieces or use a small piece of milk jug to meld them back together, then repaint using the technique above.
Ok! and for the ones that have a nice soft gradient maybe an airbrush??

I don’t mind a little bit of sun fading on blow molds, what annoys me is people overpricing them. I’m not paying the same amount for one that’s damaged compared to a brand new one
That's a great point. It's that they're still $100 with all the sun fading. Gotta price to sell
Right?! I saw this big jack o lantern one with so much fading it barely looked orange and they were asking for $35 😂😂😂
Absolutely. The price needs to reflect the condition.
No joke ! about 8 Years ago i was driving to my Moms house, And something orange caught my eye! someone put that same Don Featherstone 3 pumpkin 🎃 blow mold out for trash! I couldn’t believe someone would just throw that away! Well i never did a u turn so fast in my life! It was in perfect condition too! It had absolutely no fading! This still this is one of my favorite pieces ever and i display it in my house! I also can’t stand the faded blow molds as well too! and people ask so much money for them! Thanks for sharing those neat antique shops! I’d be so broke! 🎃🥰😎That little ghost Pomette is adorable! I remember my Mom had wax witches that were scented but i don’t thin k they were Avon ! She used to collect Halloween from the 20’s The paper mache pumpkins but she sold most of it to a collector once she got sick but the memories of her decorations definitely inspire me! Love Halloween my Favorite! 🎃👻

I am looking for a black cat, haven't found one yet. Most of the ones I have come across is on top of a pumpkin or skull, which I don't want. I have found ones made out of pipe cleaner looking material, which was cheapy looking, not what I was going for. I love your finds! Great job!

The derpy cat figure at 19:44 was my favorite! I would so use that in my kitchen which has a lot of vintage black cats/ghosties/jack o' lanterns.
You went to some amazing stores and I would absolutely sit through a far longer video showing off the merchandise in them! I enjoyed this video & your rants were valid and more of a constructive criticism of things.
Also, I wish I could respond to this video in GIF format because the super brief clips from the amazing stores made me picture Kylo Ren emphatically yelling "MORE, MORE!!!".

Love the black ghost and witch too. Oh lord, when you lit the candle I was like, NOO it will burn and ruin it (kind of the point of candles I know), but felt instant relief when you blew it out 😅 There are candles you burn and then there are fancy candles...that's a fancy one 😅
Its funny you mention because when I bought that candle she asked me if I planned on burning it and I said "only a little bit to get some wax drips but then I blow it out!" 😆

Come to Owego, NY! We have such awesome little stores and spooky boutiques :) Owego Porchfest is this weekend!
(Sarah's husband here) we actually love checking out Owego when we're down that way! That Owego Antique center is a favorite stop :) Didn't know about the Porchfest though, that sounds cool 👍

MN has Halloween but you have to dig for it. My favorite little odd shop to visit every year is a place called The General Store. The inside looks a barn loft, and it always smells like cider. 😍 They have quirky Halloween stuff I can't find elsewhere, but nothing antique.

I don't know how many of you have a Saint Vincent De Paul near you, but I've had some pretty good luck with them, not Halloween specific but my best find was a full-size vintage Elvira cardboard standee.
Those are some top tier ghosts!

WOWIE!! 🎉 I go to Jerry's yearly the 1st week in October, and I kid you not, not one halloween thing is there 😂😅 I maybe can dig out a few ugly halloween decorations or masks everyone has passed on 😂

I have the old vintage retro witch, pumpkin man, and two blk cat candles I wish there was a way to send a pic so I could see them there so cute and were my husbands grandmothers she gave them to me before she passed with some other HALLOWEEN items since she knew I live for Halloween everything 🎃
We’re planning a trip to Salem next October but cause I’m such a shopping whore and Halloween whore I’m really trying to save 10,000.00 for just shopping ( I know crazy but I know I’ll find a lot that I must have!) and we’re staying for a week so plenty of time to shop shop shop!!!

I saw on your stories that you went to palmer antiques and I was so excited cause I'm visiting my home state next week and I have a day planned on the trip just for palmer antiques!! I went last year for the first time and fell in loveee! The horror movie booth and that artist you mentioned were two of my favorite booths this year! So so happy you found the goods there! 🎃❤️

You got some cool stuff. Randomly putting unwanted item with wanted items bc you can't sell it otherwise isn't smart. I've never come across that. Its crazy to me when people sell damaged/broken items for more than they paid originally when it was in perfect condition. I'm not paying more cause its used & broken. You might be right about the glorified storage locker. I find a lot of these have items with no prices. Bc they really don't intend to sell them. Its all a charade.

If u DNT mind me asking how much are some of the blow molds u find? I’m obsessed with blow molds myself and just started collecting them a year ago even though they have been very hard to find in my area I did find the same pumpkin one u have that is also very very well taken care of and found it at a good will store for $4 I about passed out lol but I know I can’t ever get that lucky again I’m sure but was just wondering what u think are the right prices for the good condition ones that are big like ur ghost pumpkin one and the three pumpkin one!?

So much of this video is about local though. Like the Bouckville Antique Show at 3 minutes in is super local. It's all these different antique, and vintage sellers. And everyone we talked to had store fronts in different small towns of New York state : )

Can you just repaint the blow mold??
I think the downside there would be that it doesn’t light up the same 🤔 translucent plastic vs opaque paint
