    love Jumi's hairstyle and fresh look during intro scene.. enjoyed watching so much esp all the beautiful scenes, interior and exterior deco, all those lovely settlngs and yummy food ..love how Greg and Jumi so accurately describe and point out the unique point about particular kuihs, dishes and dessert..love how Greg appreciated pongteh..and best how Greg and Jumi emphasize the kuihs that is just perfect in salty santan and sweet taste which is rich in real natural ingredients and not overly sweet..I have to watch this vlog over and over again to go thru every aspect of it...
    I mentioned to a friend , if it's about promoting food and getting the food appreciated to its finest detail and for the food to get justice in review best to invite Greg and Jumi..and for the food to be appreciated and wipe the platter clean and thankful for and truly enjoyed, invite A Train Travels..just because I see A Train Travels adaptable to all the food he tried and expanding his tastebud

    I have seen it spelled differently. Is it Kuhe? In college, a dorm mate was an exchange student. His mother sent him an assorted box for Christmas. He shared with the entire house. He was very happy that someone enjoyed it, me, as much as him. It was a great experience. I enjoyed it through your video, all over again! Thanks!!
    HAPPY BEST NEW YEAR!!!!

    • @FoodandFootprints
      @FoodandFootprints  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh yes have seen it spelled “kueh” before too. That is so cool! Can imagine how good the kuih must have been. We were so lucky to be able to go behind the scenes and watch the process of making the kuih - definitely gives a whole different perspective. Your dorm mate’s mom must have put in lots of time and effort to make them.
      Happy New Year to you too! Thank you for all of your wonderful comments and support 😁

    Thinking right now about how to teach this kid to dive into cooking like this. Sometimes, it's just flying and going to a new place where you're going to have to expand your palette just to eat, period. Like the high dive without a net. You just have to trust the experience.
    And you have. You're showing that expansion of the palette can be such amazing exploration.
    Bonus: Greg said "fluffy." Twice.

    • @FoodandFootprints
      @FoodandFootprints  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is the way to go. Fret not, I (Greg) was quite a picky kid growing up and didn’t expand my horizons until my teen years. Took until my early 20’s to really become more open-minded to different foods.
      Haha the fluffy counter!
