Linda is very kind to have taken you around to introduce to you the special dishes only unique and originally from Johor ... I think you should also try the pisang goreng here because pisang goreng in Johor is unique since it comes with the black soya sauce .. kuah kicap they call it here .. it is only in Johor that pisang goreng is eaten with the kicap sauce .. it is very nice actually and one popular pisang goreng stall is the pisang goreng mawar at jln gertak merah ..about the laksa johor .. another story that we heard .. the late Queen Mother she was a european .. she loved laksa so much so one day she told the palace cook to come up with a special laksa recipe but instead of using the normal white laksa noodle made from rice floor, she told the cook to use speghetti and to modify the fish sauce into a thick curry-like fish sauce which is spiced up using sambal belacan .. so this special laksa recipe is unique only can be found in johor and it does uses speghetti in replacement of the normal white laksa noodle use in the penang laksa .. thumbs up to the both of you especially Greg because you are really knowledgeable about all different kinds of food in malaysia .. take care and stay safe always guys 😊❤👍
