I have a story (wendigo hunting ) wasn't my personal experience but a friend of mine was really interested into the whole subject of wendigo and forest creatures. He and a few of his friends decided to go into a national forest for a camping/hunting trip. He told me that he felt that if he could catch a wendigo that he would become rich of publicity. And said that the wendigo would be more scared of him than anything else..Let's just say they refuse to go back into the forest it's been about 4 months. By far one of the creepiest stories he has ever told me.

okay i have to share this. So i was 12 when this happened, but me and my family had to leave on a vacation. Me, my aunt, and sister where staying in a cabin as we had to wait a few day's for my uncle. The first night in this cabin scared me, and i had no idea why. But when it got dark we started to hear growling or a low screech. Mind you we are in the mountains on a slop by ourselves. Then we heard walking around the cabin, it keep going and we saw something go by the windows it kind of looked like a bear with stick stuck on it's head. We locked the doors and covered the windows. Also just to add my family is Half native American and we heard storys from my grandmother,and we are very superstitious, which is why we got so scared. So in the morning we go out side and saw thick branches were broken unlike the day before. And in this part of the mountain isnt know for bears, but we had large scratches on the side of the house. Which is weird because if it was a bear that did those scratches on the cabin it must have been 2 times the normal size and at least 7 feet tall. We haven't gone back to those mountains, and i hope we never do.
