I have experienced the standby nightmare probably 50 times. It’s the worst feeling ever to return from the airport in return of 90% - 50% discounted tickets. Good part is you guys reached safely. I would have died on the plane with the anxiety of flight being fixed due to technical problems. 😂 If I had to return from the airport, I always convince myself by saying, everything happens for a good reason. Overall a thrilling vlogthat kept me involved for continuous 30 minutes. 👏 👍
I was on the same flight with them with one more connection to Ahmedabad, Totally nightmare as shown in here!!!! But yes, the pilot was right to return Toronto, and the cabin crew was very polite in this tense situation. Hopefully, all of us reached our final destinations(NOT THE FINAL DESTINATION!!!) safely, and I am happy to see this being vlogged so I can tell anyone about one of the rare things We have experienced!!! This is the first vlog I have seen from you, but will follow you from now on....
I was on this flight . I felt very sorry for the crew because they bore the brunt of the passengers anger. The captain was the cause of the passengers suffering. No communication as to when the ordeal would end. That too could be understandable but keeping us in the heat with only water and a sandwich for so many hours was terrible. Especially the small children really suffered .
Positively thinking...u saved ur life by wasting soo many hours. Dint notice that the vlog was around 30 mins!!! Not a single dull moment & I love ur picturization, editing, bgm, adventure,drama etc etc everything!!

We had same situation in Dec while traveling to Delhi from Newark..Our flight got delayed to 6-7 hours from Newark to Zurich and Bcz of that we missed our next flight from Zurich to Delhi…Zurich airport gives us stand by ticket for next flight and we wait on Zurich airport for 24 hours to get seat in Delhi Flight…That was a worst nightmare for us..Bad part is Zurich airport is not that Hot like US airport…OMG I have a fobia to fly again internationally 😢.

When looking for fares for flights log in to vpn for another country for cheaper prices. For example Malaysia is a good start. Hotels to. Weekdays like Tuesday or Wednesday nights gives better results in fares.
I faced a similar situation once while travelling from London to Pakistan.while holidaying with my kids in London I had to return home to rawalpindi, pakistan, due to an emergency operation of my husband we got a standby ticket on a direct flight to Rawalpindi.after much wait n anxiety we finally boarded the plane(we were the last people to board) n just as I was settling down I saw the air hostess along with anothe ground rstaff member heading towards me .they wanted to see my boarding pass , after which they politely asked me to follow them out of the plane with the children.once outside I was told that the connecting passengers arriving from USA flight got late n had arrived n since they had confirmed tickets priority was given to them Well there I was standing in bay area with two children n without a clue of what to do.anyway the staff lady explained that in view of this off loading the airline was booking me on the next day flight to karachi !! By the time I got hold of my luggage n came out of the airport it was already 7.00 pm n children were getting restless so I took the first available taxi n headed towards my brothers house who was shocked too see me back!!

Best decision of the pilot. Imagine if you were midway and something happened ignoring the initial issue that pilot identified. Nothing more important than your life. I have been through this in UAE when due to desert storm and low visibility the pilot couldnt land and after one hour mid air and losing fuel he made the best decision to quickly go to Ras Al Khaimah and land the aircraft on a military runway as there was some visbility there. People were crying and yelling at pilot but when he landed the plane safe they were thankful of the pilots mindful decision. So have patience in such situatiions. Lifes more important.
