Decluttering makes me feel good too, but the issue I have had is selling my perfumes. Can you, maybe, sometime add the options how to sell the perfumes that are on the declutter list in one of your decluttering videos?

Orchid Vanille reminds me of baking in the kitchen during the holidays. It’s definitely a lifer for me. As of now, I constantly wear Florabotanica Balenciaga, Angel Nova, Aqua Allegoria Ginger Piccante and Julianna Perfumes Inner Beauty.
I think you probably know by now that KayAli Vanilla 28 is a favorite for me. I’ll also always keep a bottle of Flower Bomb.
There’s nothing wrong with you wanting to declutter. You get a lot of fragrances so it’s understandable. Also, if you re-home them, donate them, sale them or even use them for a giveaway it’s a great way to share or pass on something you won’t use to someone else.
I really don’t see anything negative come from you, ever.

Decluttering is necessary. Is part of life to change and you are giving a second life if you sell it or give it to someone! Do not change!

I'm human and I'd rather be honest than pretened I'm keeping every single thing that comes my way - buying and talking about perfumes is something I do because I enjoy it, but I certinaly won't keep all of them forever and if I find I don't wear one etc, I will let it go without guilt. :)
I love decluttering videos! I have decluttered fragrances in the past not because I didn't love them but because of poor performance/ I have something similar/ or to make room for a new love...
Alien was my signature scent for YEARS but my nose changed! Now I’ve been on the hunt for a new perfume. Good girl by Carolina Herrera took its place for the fall winter but now it’s summer here. Anyway I have 2 bottles if you’re interested!

I will always love Armani code. It never disappoints. Still trying to find fragrances I can’t live without. I recently got my hands on modern muse nuit and diesel lover dose red kiss. Both are pretty amazing.

You know how you can start associating certain scent profiles or specific perfumes to people/creators in the community? My mind associates you to Chanel ♥️.
Mon Guerlain intense had a similar effect on me - it’s the best one to me (and I have mon exclusif too which I *thought* would be the best one). It’s rare that I worry about something getting discontinued, just because there are so many amazing perfumes, most of the time I feel like I’ll get over it if I finish it up 😅… but this one I wouldn’t want to be without either - it feels like a lifer too even though I just got it this past spring. 🥰

xD I miss being able to flip my hair and catch a whiff of my hair! Ugh that’s such a feminine girly thing that brings so much happiness. Forever living vicariously thru girls who are able to do that! This was a great list ❤️
I loooove miss dior! One of my favorites ever, and besides the packaging I feel some darkness about it and it has the most beautiful juice color... I can't say enough good things about it
My favorites are definitely Decadence, miss dior, black opium and alien 💕
Did you know the EDT Chance is actually the original :) that came out first and then they introduced the EDP a year or two later. :) I love both as well
I just love the original Chanel Chance have not tried the edt. Versace Versense has to always be in my collection as well as Alien Fusion.
Oooooo mon Guerlain has iris in it 😭😭 definitely will be buying that. I like Olympea, but I def prefer REM over it! But one of my fav layering combos is olympea with la belle and my lalicous sugar tiare body butter. I also enjoy layering chocolate greedy with olympea or REM! Totes recommend those combos!

Decluttering gives me life too! I've realized it's hard for people to grasp this concept lol. And when I've decluttered a bunch of my own stuff and can't find any more, I come to TH-cam and watch someone else declutter 😁
I would highly recommend Mon Guerlain sensuelle. I think it’s smoother and prettier than the original. It’s very classy and calming. 💗😌

Chanel Chance Eau Tendre and Sì Fiori are lifers for me. CET because of the memories I associate with it. SÌ Fiori is the only one I have a backup of. It's just so good! I can't believe it's discontinued. I might have to try the new Sì Intense. Girl of Now is one I can't see myself getting tired of but I just got it so I can't call it a lifer...yet!
We absolutely agree. I also want to keep about 20 for my life (btw we agree in some of those, for example Van Cleef, flowerbomb, Mon exclusif, sg Chanel ( coco noir). So i always declutter, about every 2 months.
I'm so glad there are others who are doing the same thing as I am! :). It's a dream to have 20 or so for life... I think I'd find it so hard to actually choose those 20, because I have about 40 right now that I can not imagine parting ways with.

Decluttering is inevitable when you have a large collection, you’ll end up removing a few fragrances here and there until you’re completely satisfied with the selection you have . I have to admit with perfume it can be hard cause there are so many to explore .
There are so many samples I want to get because of you & a couple other people on here lol! I am starting to grow my collection & am perfume obsessed right now (gonna have to get a 2nd job 😂) so I really enjoy your content & suggestions 💖

yes I wasn't 100% sold in the beginning either but now I find it so nice especially for the fall.
I don’t know why I still own Alien, it makes my stomach turn. For me, it’s too heavy and sweet. Mon Guerlain is a very comforting scent. I will always own Angel EDP, even if I rarely wear it.
I agree the MG is such a comforting scent. It's too bad you can't do Alien although it's totally understandable.
My new favorite layer. Paco Robanne Olympia EDP original with Banana Republic Classic Aqua EDP layered on top ❤💕
You should look on Mercari for someone selling the OG alien on Mercari. I just purchased the original alien, 1 oz for $80. It was sprayed a few times but basically still 95% full and I think it’s worth it to have the first alien. 💜

I Love a good declutter!! I've got 50 now that I love, van cleef and arpels orchidee vanille is my favorite vanilla, I am totally loving mancera holidays and velvet vanilla, olympea legere is another one I love!

I want to love Olympea because the vanilla is sooo beautiful, but there's a note in it that I really hate, maybe the ginger or the salt..? It smells like ammonia to me. I think it's what gives it the "fresh" scent. I've tried Olympea Legend, it seemed a lot nicer! What are your thoughts on the Olympea flankers?
none of the olympea flankers have stuck around for me. That said I haven't smelled the legend. Intense: not complex enough, didn't really enjoy it, preferred the original for the freshness. Aqua: nice but I still preferred the richness of the original and didn't think I needed both.

I read in a Facebook group that if you buy the Alien fragrance with “Tierry Mugler”written on the box on the bottom front rather then just “Mugler, that is the original formula. It’s still out there I believe. :)
Yes it is still out there - I actually recently found 3 boxes at my local grocery store - only because I think no one buys perfume there ever, so they have been sitting there since goodness knows how long. But they no longer make it - so the original formulation is very hard to find (although I somehow stumbled on a gold mine)
Yeah I just found thierry mugler alien edp at my local Shoppers Drug mart last week and 2 weeks ago found alien essence absolue at my hudsons’ bay ! 🇨🇦

I have smelled it and I know some people love it - I love the way it smells I can appreciate the artistry of it but I don't think I would ever be able to wear aura.:/. what about you???
@@thesimplechiclife i am inlove with Aura the same way i felt with Alien. That’s my only perfume with prominent green note I thought i wouldn’t like it because i never sampled it and reviews are mixed. To me they did a good job making the green note and vanilla blend well. Can u share the reason why you couldn’t wear it?

I prefer the EDP. The EDT is lovely but I still like the longevity and strength of the EDP :)
I have most of these but my lifers would be Love Don't Be Shy and Burberry Her. I have a very old bottle of Miss Dior Cherie I want to hold on to forever, but I'm unsure of the exact year it is. Olympea smells terrible on me😖

You’ll never get to a top 20 for life because there’s always new perfumes coming out and there will always be fomo - you’ll always feel like there is something better out there.

Nice list. Im tempted to blind buy Chocolate Greedy. Is it at all comparable to Orchidee Vanille? Orchidee Vanille is one of my favorite scents, but I wish it were a little bit stronger.
its quite different form orchidee vanille. OV is more vanilla, smells very refined, doesn't have quite the lasting power of Chocolate Greedy. CG is more powdery and stronger in the chocolate aspect.

it depends on your personal taste, I love both. the edt is more fresh fruity youthful fun summery, the edp is a bit more mature patchouli. Both are amazing!

I don't think declutturing is bad but when you rave about a perfume and kinda push people to buy it ( because you are an influencer) and then a few months later you decluter it, I find it kinda confusing. I'm really not being mean, but I find it kinda hard to watch a video about great perfumes that you love only to get rid of them soon after
That's where people are wrong - I don't ever push anyone to buy anything. I literally receive 5-10 new perfumes every single month. Many of them are amazing - it doesn't mean I myself need to keep it in my collection. I do not wish to have a large collection. It's like reviewing cars - a person really only needs one car although they can recommend hundreds of cars to a person. Please don't read so far deep into these declutters. I struggle to even film them because of perceptions like yours above, but I also love sharing my declutters and I know many out there love to see them. I also think it would be dishonest of me to pretend I am keeping everything when really I'm not. So I am very transparent.
In addition I must also add I don't consider myself influencer by day job - I don't try to influence anyone to buy anything, I just share my honest thoughts about things I love. I know that people will obviously be influenced still - but I don't really like the term influencer and I try not to think of myself as that. I also personally don't take it to heart if I see someone rave about a perfume and they later let it go - if I bought it because of them, and I still love it, that's all that really matters. :)

I wish they wouldn’t change formulas - I used to wear Lauren by Ralph Lauren and then they reformulated and it’s yuck 🤢

Anyone looking for the OG Thierry Mugler Alien, I suggest trying Sacrifice edp. it from a perfume company called AJMAL based in the UAE so its beast mode and well made. I find it to have that humid/solar amber accord that the new Mugler reformulated version lacks. Just an unsponsored tip from a fellow perfume head

I am so upset that Olympia has no lasting power on my skin and even on my clothes but I love the scent; and intense doesnt last on me at all; ohhhhh😡 lollll
Same here ! I just tried Olympea yesterday and it didn't last on me at all like not even 20 minutes . I was Soo caught off guard 😩🤣 I thought it had longevity. I'm so disappointed! ☹️
oh no! I think one thing that I find really helps my perfumes last a while is I spray them all over my clothes too not just on skin. On clothes I find most of my perfumes become long lasting if they weren't before :)
@@thesimplechiclife olympia is not even staying on my clothes, very disappointed 😩 it is the same thing for that perfume: Hot Couture by Givenchy I love it, it got a coffee vive thru it, but doesn’t last on skin and on clothes either; kept it for 2 weeks then have to return it, not worth the price at all
