Just think, nobody made a better selling live album or better live album than Pete. I always thought there's nothing better than this and it's true. Other live albums are great no doubt, but he just can't be beat. Nobody plays quite like him live. He is most definitely top on the list. His songs, playing and singing are phenomenal. No wonder I feel so strongly about him and his music. He's so down to earth and humble as humble pie! Thanks Pete! Wish I could shake your hand and chat with you awhile. I turn on Frampton comes alive in my 2003 vette with the bose system and turn it all the way up and sing along with you. It doesn't get any better except to see you live. All the best to you for what you've done for us! I play guitar too and have been highly influenced by you. You amaze me.

El " Frampton Comes Alive ", a mi entender es una obra maestra, uno de los mejores albums en vivo de la historia del rock y la version de esta canción es la mejor muestra de quién fué este tremendo músico.

I fell in love with Frampton Comes Alive as a kid. Saw him in 1977 and have listened to that side of the album (lines on my face and Do you feel like I do) a thousand times. It's a real trip down memory lane. Nothing like it. He just gets better with age.

I saw him at Summerfest in Milwaukee a few years ago... he's good on his studio albums, but you can tell that he is at his utter best feeding off the energy of a live band at a crowd. He was hilarious and just utterly breathtaking. This was when he released an album, and he yelled "How many of you bought my new album?!" The crowd all cheered, and he jokingly said "You're all lying! But it's at the merch tent!" I don't think anyone stopped laughing for a good few minutes, nor did he. Frampton is one of the best.

+roquey44 Talking of smiling, I don't know where you're from, but in the '70s a lot of young people in the UK were wearing smelly Khaftan coats and growing their hair long, and they liked to slip musical quotes into a conversation to try and sound cool. One night in the mid '70s I was at a party in a large house and was standing on the landing when a couple walked up, presumably on the way to a bedroom, and, on seeing me standing on my own he said: "Hey man, don't stand alone, you might turn to stone." Right on cue there was the sound of a toilet flushing and the door behind me opened. I just smiled, and the girl giggled. They he realised why I was standing alone. I never found out if he was just trying to be smart or I was about to get an invited to share a joint and his girlfriend. The memory still makes me smile, especially when I hear Frampton.

I saw him in Cincinnati when he first went solo right after he made this song. He opened for the Doobie Brothers. He just about stole the show. Best concert I have ever seen Or one of them. I have seen a lot. The only ones I didn't see live that I really wanted to was Zeppelin and the Who. I tried my hardest to get Who tickets, but I'm glad I didn't, 11 people died at that concert because some stupid high school football team started pushing the crowd forward and they wouldn't open the doors to let people in. Bad day for those poor souls. Haven't been to a concert since.
I just want to thank you for uploading this. I had tears in eyes to see one of my all time favorites from my childhood. Just simply awesome.

Peter toca duro, la más completa y estupenda versión de este clásico que conozco... Lejos de las presiones de tener que ser un ídolo juvenil, que las tuvo durante su apogeo a mediados de los 70', aquí, en la madurez, mostró su capacidad para rockear con la guitarra eléctrica... Usa un poquito de jazz melódico pero no en exceso, no es estilo Jazz Rock Fusión... Es Rock y Frampton es de los que saben tocar con ritmo, arpegios en los acordes, y ánimo + creatividad... carrera muy irregular tuvo pero se sale de todo y superó sus infortunios... yo le admiro

a genius of sound in advance for his early times, but also highly skilled, uniquely as requested to play his amazing solo at best! I have listened this solo in different releases hundreds times along many years (over 30 ?!...) for same earing pleasure!...Amazing also to listen in comparing extreme years releases since around 1975 up to few years ago 2012?. Peter is a real forever young spirit !
