- Russian armed forces carried out carpet-bombing at Ukraine's Myrhorod airfield. A Russian missile strike has destroyed five Ukrainian military jets & damaged two more. The Russian Defence Ministry confirmed the attack and even released a video. The ministry said that a crew of Iskander-M tactical missiles achieved success in the mission. Multiple simultaneous explosions on the ground hit at use of cluster munitions.

Look on google earth, if you look back through past satellite imagery you would see these Jets have been parked up since the end of the USSR. When USSR fell Ukraine inherited more SU-27 than it needed so the surplus was just parked up and used for spare parts
