Kudos to Chris! I watched this stream live and it wasn't nearly as hilarious as this video. Chris does great work and I love how you always leave in the stuff he tells you to edit out during the stream lol

I played this for 4 hours on Friday and after almost 100 deaths and getting close to the end, I had to stop. I was emotionally and mentally defeated by the game. I will go back and beat it, but I needed a mental break haha

Sure, the game is a little hard, but at least you can relax thanks to the beautiful soundtrack.
So much jank in this game! Being a game programmer just makes all the little bad details stand out all the more. The stretched cliff face texturing, the saw-toothed jaggy edges of drop-offs, the knight hanging frozen in mid-air during jumps, the character looking like a bizarre barrel when the camera ends up inside of him... I know exactly what causes all of these things, and just how easy each of them are to fix if you just bother to put in a *tiny* bit of effort.
As a sprite artist, those jagged edges caught my eye immediately and wouldn't let go.
Dad joke: I like bowling because it's right up my alley.
Watching all of those fish jumping just reminded me about how many times I said, “Holy mackerel!” back in my old college days!

Dave you got so close to the end but the game is so unforgiving. Still some save points in the lead-up but I'm glad you persevered as long as you did
