I’m not sure, but A Bullitt tribute video where you run the route McQueen ran in Bullitt (but all Hooned up) all shot in super-8 would be pretty cool. You could even get a second driver to trail behind. I know you already did San-Fran though.

It reminds me of watching Group B when I was a kid. Please do more Super 8 in the future! Seriously, thank you for what you do, Ken. Pierre, that was F*$N awesome. We get so used to to seeing super slow motion on some ungodly expensive camera, with perfect clarity. I enjoyed your version was even more. I understand why they couldn't incorporate you footage, but it was inspiring to say the least. Just when you think you've seen it all, someone surprises you! Great job.
Everytime I hear the story about the snow jump that broke your back and you winning a race the next weekend I get goosebumps. Such an insane story. I really enjoy how many of these stories we get to hear because of this channel.
This is one of the most amazing gymkhana edits to date. What a shocking surprise, seriously amazing work. It does have a period correct feel, being that the mustang would have reasonably matured enough that it makes sense for it to be as modded as it is, and shot on super 8. Of course, no one had created a high performance, awd, mustang until the hoonicorn, but damn, this footage would almost make you think otherwise.
Totally loved that it was shot with a super 8 it totally captured a different view that would have been amazing to incorporate in the original video. The lens flares and burns just show how genuine it was and showcased the hoonicorn perfectly.
That footage reminded me of "Bullitt" the original "Italian Job" the original "Gone in 60seconds" mixed with a little "CHiPs"and "The French Connection" all in one!! That was amazing!

Cool story about the raptor tracks video. I'm a huge fan that lives here in Nelson B.C. where the barge shots were taken, and was just kind of discovering Ken along with the world of Motorsport, specifically rally, at the time. One of my friends was working for Baldface unloading the heli at the airport for them and actually has a picture of him and some of his other friends with Ken (And Ken was wearing car PJs, fitting). Anyway about 2 days after Ken had come back from Baldface I was chatting with my friend and asked him if he had ever heard of Ken Block, and of course he goes "Oh yeah he was just up at Baldface! I have a picture with him." After the raptor tracks video came out I realized how cool it was that Ken was here in my home town, right after I discovered who he was. Ken thank you for being out there doing what you do and inspiring people like me, you will forever be the radest guy alive.
The Deer was finally mentioned, That deer looked like it was planned. It was on cue when the car came around the corner. And love the Super 8 footage. Having to be behind the scenes gave him some unique angles.
I can’t get enough of the hoonicorn!! This is wonderful, you guys are taking a lot of different great styles and mixing them ! It’s like the best mashup of “Gone in 60” - “Deathrace 2000” & “ Walt Disney car chase . I love seeing the reality of this INSANE car and it seeing it compared apples to apples to other practical stunt cars. The perspective makes car fit right in with the “General Lee” If you really think about it your story is what those old films were at the core , no bull , we have a car with stuff done to it & a crazy guy that can wheel & a simple plot. Instead of running from “cops “ you guys are running with em & that’s awesome .

Pierre is amazing such an eye for detail. The Gymkhana video absolutely have their own feel and look and that is part of what makes then so epic. I cant wait to see what kind of newer technologies you guys use to get cool angle and keep that same feel. Like the newer introduction of 360 cameras. The super 8 footage has a very Steve McQueen Bullet feel and look I love it and would love to see more like it.

Canon 1014 XL s was my favorite super 8 weapon. Used it to shoot Motocros film in the70's and 80's. Lots of great features and built to last!
