Our Focalors foresees this future in which she does nothing and so formulates a plan thus splitting herself into Focalors and Furina.
I can honestly see this 😭 headcanon or not, she really went and took fate by the reigns and said I will make sure the future I want to pass will come, with my own blood sweat and tears (literally 😭)

Immediately afterwards, I remembered this is a Hoyo game, that we're supposed to love the archon, and that they were going to provide the necessary level of emotional investment for it to happen. They were so confident in giving her a terrible personality that I was very very afraid.
