Hi Chris! What substrate so you use when you incubate the eggs? And what temperature do you set your incubator to? Great video by the way, very entertaining and helpful!!
Hi Chris, very good video, it is very detailed and very well explained. The reason why I need that shirt is that "To be a Geckopia boy or not to be a Geckopia boy that is the key to success to reproduce Geckos that is the reason why I need that Geckopia shirt, to show others that I will be as successful as Chris Geckopia. " By the way I have another question for you I saw in a video that they commented that if you are incubating eggs for females at 80 - 82 degrees at 3 weeks you could raise the temperature to 88 degrees so that the females would be born with a better color. I want to know what you think of that or if you have. Thanks and many regards.
LOL. I was literally laughing while I was reading through this.🤣🤣 Thanks Eduardo. Hmm, good question! I have heard some people do this to create a brighter color, but I wouldn't do it. I like to keep things natural when I'm breeding because I really don't want to stress my hatchlings while incubating. It could be very risky.👍
Bro is that i can keep geckos inside of a storage box i wont use heat pad because the seller told me noneed heat pat because im in malaysia the weather also hot here so he told noneed....is that i can keep it in big size storage box?
My leopard gecko only seems to have a fat body in her belly but she has not ate. Even though she has not ate she has been gaining weight. It doesn’t show signs of ovulation. She just sits in the open and in the cool hide is this normal or the start of ovulation.
Great video, man! A modern and technical approach to a leopard gecko guide that's pretty easy to follow. (compared to leopard gecko videos made in 2009) Do you have any tips to check ovulation for fat-bellied females? And my other female already successfully bred with my male but there no eggs were developed. plz help thanks! love from the philippines
Thanks Enzo~ When you check their belly, if it starts turning pink, that's also a sign of ovulation. So, look out for that as well. There are two things that could lead to an egg issues. 1. Female may not be ready for a breeding season, that's why it was not developed. 2. You may have spited out the male too early from the female. Try pairing them for a week. that could help. 😊👍
Hi bro. You said 48h to a week? Do i have to monitor them alot just incase they fight? And also I want to join your give a way. Haha. Y? I just love the design, but I'm from other country. 😂😂😂
Wow! International Viewer? That's awesome. When you're paring them for the first time, I would check on them frequently. You will see them fight within first 15 minutes when they're introduced. If that happens, just reintroduce each other again after 48 hrs. 48hrs to a week is when they get along well eachother.👍
Hi... just an update on my leopard geckos... they both sadly passed away last night... My mom said she thinks they ate a cricket that was too big and they did not digest it properly🥺 I miss them so much and just out of habit every time I wake up I get up and I go to check on them and then remember😔 But the good thing is my mom said maybe I can get a new one that is a little bit older😊😕 I will always remember them... Izzy&Ella😔
Hey Lilly, I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully the new gecko could bring your happiness again. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me through IG or here in the comment. I'm here to help 😉
This leads to two things. 1. She may had ovulation already and you might have missed it. (which, it's very rare). 2. Not every gecko will ovulate every year. So, maybe she's just not ovulating this year. Hope this helps👍
@@anlockcharacter1104 Just keep checking eventually she will ovulate. I’m still waiting on ovulations for this year :) I find it really hard to see in some morphs
I would love a Geckopia Tshirt because I got my first leopard gecko :D

Hey Chris, great video! If I use hatchrite as my incubation media, do I still need to moist it? Or is it not necessary for hatchrite? Thanks
you would need water for that as well 😉
Ok thanks! I appreciate it!! I sent you a message on Instagram, if you could check it I would appreciate it! Keep it up! Loving the videos!
Sir why my female is not ovulating she is 1 year old and very good wait
If I get the t-shirt would look get me wearing it and having my soon new Red Devil when I buy them this coming Thursday in Korea.

What is the ideal age to breed?
1-2 years 😉

hi, what if the female is scared and stands higher when I put a male to her box? is that mean the female hasn't ovulation?
Most likely she is just not ready. Reintroduce again later and see if she does that again. I did cover this part in my last video~ 😉
how can i know if my male leopard gecko is ready to mate a female leopard gecko?
Hey Nephi, normally when they're over 50g, they should be ready to mate.
Question my 12 months old gecko is not ovulating . . . . Is there a possibility that she will not ovulate?
