- Welcome to the Boeing Everett Factory Tour !
We are inside the biggest Building in the World by volume !
Here, Boeing is assembling the famous Boeing 747, but also the 767, 777 and of course the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The Boeing 777X will be out from this final assembly line soon !
We were the guests of Boeing during 4 days and this trip was just amazing, for the delivery of an airplane for Royal Air Maroc. We are talking about the first Boeing 787-9, and this one is registrated CN-RAM.
Another video will be soon online and this one will be 100% focused on Renton, where Boeing is making the best seller Boeing 737.

I worked in that factory for 16 years. When I started in 1985 I believe there was 12,000 people working there, when I left in 2001 it had doubled. Boeing was good to me and great pay & compensation, but I’ve never regretted leaving either.

Working there and seeing this daily it becomes mundane and you forget how there’s no other place like it. Still amazing when you take a second and walk the place. Definitely get your daily steps in easily!

Cool video! That place is massive and you did a great job of showing the highlights. I make it a point to walk through there and check out all the lines every couple of weeks. I'm always blown away by the massive scale of everything in there.

We manufacture Yak-130 and SU-30sm aircraft, and launch a new passenger plane MS-21.,but because of US sanctions, our factory is suffering. Our prospects are bad so I’m thinking about moving in with you)
@@user-vh9rq7ex2q I know there are people from eastern europe not sure which countries. if you work in the everett factory you will be part of a union and depending on your job your pay can vary. As far as jobs right now not sure what's happening with the pandemic.

So he says they don't make money from the tour but says they run 325,000 people through. That's over 8 million dollars worth of tours so I'm calling bullshit on the zero profit BS!
Think about how much it costs to pay the bills for that place including the employees and while yeah they make billions of dollars a year it still costs a fortune to pay the bills for a place that big

ya but think they have to hire people to clean up the trash those tourists leave behind, coffee cups etc, they had multiple employees hired full time just to direct the tour when I went in 2017

This is the VIP tour, you don't get this for that amount, I just took the tour last month and you don't get this close

Just 2 days ago ... there was a plane crash in my country .. fell into the sea and everything was destroyed .. Could the airplane designer create a parachute on top of the fuselage? changing technology. and hope that airplane accidents can be minimized?.. 😥😕😔

Boeing started in Seattle it wasn't till much later that the corporate HQ was moved to Chicago.

Obviously a VIP tour because they tell the paying public that absolutely no phones or cameras are allowed, period. I was told that the only way you get a factory floor tour is to buy an airplane, so these people paid plenty.

It was not a great tour. I had the expectation I would see some sort of assembly. There was none. We did not see any work being done . Oh yeah, great to see the parts but that was it. Did more walking down tunnels then watching the factory floor. Not worth the money. Other parts and assembly are in a different city.
Way to talk shit. Every Boeing in the sky was built here and if you fly, be thankful for this massive facility. It sounds like you caught the tour on a day off or very long break lol... Regardless, shit gets done here. Im sorry to hear that you didn't get to see the workers in action though. Id be a bit pissed myself. What day did you take the tour??
@@ashtongilbert i believe this facility runs 24/7, but it could've been between change shft.
The major fabrication and assembly happens in smaller shops around the factory and around the country and world. The major assembly happens inside the plane out of sight, and the final assembly bay is mostly wiring and interiors. They’re dropping in a set of wings every few days not every tour run.
It was a rip-off. There was 3 of us and we all agreed it wasn’t worth the money. They also would not answer a lot of my questions.
