    OOOhhhh Mannn!!!! All these years, I've been having the girl stand up hill, on something, or artificially elevating them. AND often these days, the girl is taller than the guy. THIS is going to save my poses and make for a much more natural upper body composition. THANK YOU Peter Hurley! You are my new and most favorite professional poser! I'm also linking some of your "how to pose" videos to my clients prior to our sessions.

    Or get an orange box for vertically challenged to stand on..
    This option often results in altitude sickness, so its a good
    idea to have oxygen on standby ;)

      Edward Millership I get it, but in today's "politically correct" (read: pansy) society you'd be surprised to know that people go out of their way to use ridiculous euphemisms so they "don't offend" anyone xD

      It's true, people do go out of their way to point out that simple words can be misconstrued. Often unnecessarily...

    I wonder what Peter thinks about how males on dating apps like Tinder have more success when they don't look directly into the camera and have black and white pictures.

    • @peter_hurley
      @peter_hurley  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I would think it would be based on the shot, so would have to be determined on a shot to shot basis. Generally, people do look more put together when they aren't staring down the barrel of a lens, so that might have something to do with it.

    Your a funny dude but you are the king of headshots. Hey I got one for you, what if you never met the couple and you didn't know the guy was so tall when you saw there couple portrait and then you meet them in person, I would be like woal you look shorter in the photo dude did you grow since the photo? what would most people think?

    • @peter_hurley
      @peter_hurley  7 ปีที่แล้ว +27

      You wouldn't be able to hold it properly keeping your torso vertical while getting your chin out. It's a lot more comfortable and better on the body to spread em.
