- Courteney Cox shared what it was like reuniting with her cast-mates, Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, and Matt LeBlanc for the highly anticipated "Friends" reunion special, telling Ellen how emotional it was to be back on the stage where they shot the sitcom... for the first time in 17 years! Plus, Ellen talked about what it's like being Courtney's new roommate, and Courteney chatted about the enthralling new season of "9 Months," her Facebook Watch series.

Courteney Cox definitely deserved an Emmy nomination for her role as Monica Geller on "Friends". She portrayed that character so amazingly and perfectly well. I could not imagine another actress in that role.
Luckily for Courtney she looks nothing like Monica now. So at least she can go incognito.

@Ellie Nixon On the one hand this fact amazes me, but on the other it 's unsurprising. The talent , chemistry and the neverending organic, authentic plot/meaning of _your friends being your family_ is what keeps it entertaining and timeless. Even when it was a show made with a time frame of 1994-2004 in mind. That includes showing New York City before 9/11. But that hasn't stopped Friends from being relevant and the show premiering almost 27 years ago.
"Friends" is something people like me, who watched it when it aired, have in common with everyone who has watched and loved it since then. In this mixed up world, it's fantastic to find what we CAN agree on and enjoy together.

My wife & I got married in 2005, she's from a small town & had never seen Friends. I had every season on DVD, still do. We watched every episode before our wedding & walked into our reception to the theme song!

Yep. Just the actors. Knowing their friendship was a huge part of what kept the show going for 10 years. Even when the writing and production was not on par anymore with what the actors could do with their talent and chemistry.
I wouldn’t be the person I am today without friends! ❤️They taught me more about life than my own family. I will most definitely be emotionally anticipating the release of this special of all of them! Can’t love this any MORE!!!

I have down syndrome and my life is amazing because of it. You shouldn’t be ashamed because it’s a blessing. It truly is.
When you first been told that your child has down syndrome you should have tears of joy because they’re special and unique in there own way.

My sister had Down's Syndrome. She was the angel of our family, just pure unconditional love. She lived to be 55 and I miss her every day. It's true that at first there is such grief at the thought that your baby won't have a "normal" life, but it will work out. She had a great life and she was loved by many.
