God help you getting the rubber into the holes. I’m going to have to send mine back because even with soap, water, olive oil, a hammer, Vice grips, there’s just no way to get them in.
They really should be recommending using hand sanitizer to use. Coat the toilet and the rubber gasket, push and wiggle. I had forgotten about that trick and was trying soap/hammer and getting nowhere. The alcohol in the sanitizer will not damage the gasket BTW, it evaporates quickly. You can also use sanitizer when trying to get your hydration pack tubes cleaned out and the end nubbins back on (think camelbak hoses) or really anything involving tubes or rubber trying to smoosh into another piece.
