I was already thinking how much of a pain it was going to be to run this up in the attic and back down through the drywall and then realized after reading your comment the warm water connection was pointless. Until I get our old galvanized replaced with PEX, that water's going to be cold anyway.
Can I cut the hot water connection line shorter if I don’t need the length to reach the sink? Thinking it might reduce the time to get warm water to the tushy if it doesn’t need to empty out the water left in the line first.
Is there a maximum length for the polyurethane tube that someone might use before water pressure becomes an issue? My toilet is on the wall opposite the sink, but it's a relatively small bathroom. Theoretically, I could run the warm water tube through the wall, up and over the bathroom door, and out of the wall to where the valve is on the toilet. But I'm not sure if that's a reasonable workaround.
Sounds like the TUSHY Classic might be a better fit in that situation, but you can always run the hot waterline across the floor if you don't mind it :)
Hi Ricardo! We don't have a video for the flushometer installation yet. Hi Josue! I believe you're referring to the inlet cap: hellotushy.com/products/inlet-cap. It is only used if you don't want to install the warm water connection! You'll just need to remove the plastic barb fastener that's likely currently seated in the hot water port and screw the inlet cap to block the warm water connection.
My gasket from the original toilet water supple line seems to be pretty old and decomposing and when attaching it to the plastic part sent with the Tushy 3.0 seems to be leaking at that point only.
You can totally hook up the TUSHY Spa and use it with your cool water connection only. That works just fine. This setup could also provide you flexibility if you want to use the TUSHY Spa in the future in a different bathroom, etc. The box already comes with a cap to screw onto the hot water connection under the TUSHY console just to provide a double seal on top of the valve inside the TUSHY. See more details here: hellotushy.com/products/inlet-cap.
And here's how you'd use that cap to block off that warm water connection: th-cam.com/video/fYfWKOgusz0/w-d-xo.html. You'll just need to remove the adapter that's likely currently attached to the hot water port.

Because the hot water tank is in the basement it takes awhile for the hot water to rise to sink. So, when the hot water is turned on only cold water will come out of the tushy.
Hi Jesse! here is a TUSHY trick for the problem you are describing regarding a lag in time for the hot water to reach your bum. TUSHY has a setting called "nozzle wash" which simply washes the outside of the nozzle with water.
Simply activate the nozzle wash setting by turning the knob a little bit until you hear water running straight down into the toilet while you're doing the deed. The cool water will stream out of the pipes in order to access that warm water for the bum washing. Then you can just turn the knob further to activate bum wash when you're ready! 😊
Trying to connect my hot water line however my underside piece is different from hers. The water line doesn’t just unscrew from the piece where the knob is.
Hi Liliana! We're sorry to hear that! Sounds like your home has great water pressure! TUSHY works best between 45 and 55 PSI, so if your home has stronger pressure we'd recommend adjusting that to make it more bearable. Also, here are some quick tips on how to get the squirt you desire. Most of the pressure action happens between 12pm and 2pm if you're looking at the pressure knob like a clock face.
So if 2pm blasts your butthole off, start with 12:15 and slowly take it from there and find your sweet spot. If it's still too strong, you can also try flushing at the same time as you activate the TUSHY spray to get a diminished sprinkle. If none of the above helps, we can send you a Water Pressure Reduction Insert to add into your TUSHY console connection and you'll just need to cover the $4.99 shipping fee. This will hopefully reduce that pressure a bit. 😊
Here's a video on how to install the water pressure insert: th-cam.com/video/2FMrmQR5YWE/w-d-xo.html Would you like us to send this? If so, please share your order number and shipping address.
Hi there! For enclosed sinks, most of our customers drill a small hole towards the base of the enclosure to slide the white polyurethane tube through the side. You can use an 8mm or 11/32" drill bit or anything bigger. If there happens to be an opening in the sink enclosure, you can also feed the tube around the baseboard and through the opening to get to the sink.
Does the hot water mix with the cold? I’m afraid of burning myself since the hot water where I live gets super hot. Can you adjust the temp on this Tushy?
Wacky question. Like others, my sink is on the opposite wall. Buuutt.... the hot water heater is 6 feet away same wall. Will that adapter work on the hot outlet? Probably not since those outlets up top of the heater are big. But I gotta ask. :)
Hi! So ive only had one problem with it so far. We always have to be careful when we sit and not move at all cause if we do, the toilet seat screws will fall for some reason.
My hot water has been leaking for quite some time that I had to shut it off to the bidet. It’s not the tube, but rather, the adapter that was preinstalled. The collar was steadily leaking and it wound up leaving a messy pool around the toilet whenever the hot water on the bidet OR from the bathroom sink was used. I’d walk into the bathroom throughout the day and bam. Pool of water around the toilet. Sigh.
The connectors attach at the tap, so they're generally out of the way. If the concern is the hot water connect you can either tape them back and out of the way, or go with the Classic :)
Hoping I can save a fellow TH-camr from making the same dumb mistakes I did. 1. If you need to drill, do not start until your drill is charged. 2. Use the toilet before starting (“even if you think you do not have to” and especially if you are someone who forgets to charge her drill!!!)

Never use pliers on your knob it stings
A lot of key words in the video
Great tutorial! My 🍑 says thank you!
You sure are cute
Thank you! You can see me but I can’t see you?
Please stop supplying plastic adapters, they’re god awful
Helpful video but shorter would've been better!
Needlessly way too long
Too long. Tighten this shit up
No. I found it the perfect length.
I regret this purchase. All the vulgarity from your nasty shirt to all the shit references in the box. This did not have to be crass, gross, or disgusting. And how about in your video, you TURN IT ON to show us how to ensure IT SPRAYS CORRECTLY.
No Ma’am, lol. We definitely appreciate that woman.
I bought a tushy in September 2020 and felt frustrated installing so I didn’t finish installation and am trying again today after just sitting in box for years. Wish me luck. I’m already frustrated 🤭🥲.
Just finished setting it up with no leaks :) VDAYBIDET FTW
Yay! We're so glad to hear that! Enjoy that TUSHY! 💦
What if we dont have a sink near our toilet? 😢
