It's amazing what you find, when you go through crafting supplies after you have been so busy with life and other projects. So glad you found it. It's a beautiful collection and cover Gayle.
When you dubble side print and the one side is upside down -you can use it for an flipup on you page. Thank you for sharing your beauriful uplifting spirit and stories.
The slow stitched cover is beautiful. Now you got me looking for material to make another one. I love doing the slow stitching covers. I could watch you all day long doing covers and putting papers together. That is one of my favorite things to do is watching it come together. I'm gonna have to look at your journal cover video's some more. Actually I just love watching you do everything. I have watched you every single day for the last 5 years.
I've missed you. We have had the flu and now my dearest hubby has been diagnosed with dementia. I feel so lost, Gayle. Watching you has made me feel better. Thank you.
I know you must be devastated. So sorry. Just remember you are never alone. I will be praying for you, your dear husband, and family. God bless you all.
😂 I forgot to comment this morning.😆Such a lovely slow stitch cover. This is going to be a beautiful journal another real treasure. Cutting the edges is part of the process. Never apologize for showing us everything. The autumn journals are coming along perfect. Prayers for Sarah. Namesta 💓🐞💕
I absolutely love this slow stitch cover! So glad you unearthed it to finish. I've got to make some covers like this! Thank you so much for showing us how it's assembled!
Wow Gayle, you do find some amazing forgotten friends items. Your cover is beautiful and such wonderful papers you have to put your journal kits together. Look forward to seeing them done after your retreat.
What a beautiful slow stitch cover. I think I remember you showing us when you shared what you had done on the weekend.😊. Fun fall journals. Your favorite season! 😊
Weeeelllll, I'm thinking if you go through your catalog of videos you can probably find a video on this cover and digital! LOL like the rest of us these last couple of years have taught don't sweat the small stuff! Happy find that's now getting finished.
Hi Gayle! What a beautiful slow stitch cover! That's going to be a lovely journal. As will the Fall journal. What a great eye you have putting things together. It always amazes and inspires me. I'm wishing your day is as wonderful as your creativity! Hugs! Sue ♥
Good morning! I didn't fall asleep a million times this one. I didn't get to craft either. I actually cleaned while listening to you. Thanks for the motivation, I guess. For real though, as usual thank you for being around.
The slow stitch cover is so pretty! I haven't tried it yet but I did recently purchase a small slow stitch kit. It's not usually the kind of thing I would buy but I was very inspired when I saw it so I thought I'd give it a try. Can't wait to see your finished journal. Hugs!
That cover is pure art. Not sure I wouldn't frame it and hang it on my wall so that I could see it every day. Your personal kits idea is great. Before I learned that trick from you, my journal world was totally chaotic. Now I can easily add to my "kits" as I create or find new items. I can't wait to see the finished slow stitch journal, and I am so ready to slide into autumn. Have an amazing retreat, have fun with your friends, and come back with journals to show us and marvelous stories to tell.
Good afternoon Gayle! 💕 What a lovely slow stitch cover the ‘other’ Gayle made for you. 😀 Looking forward to fall makes. Enjoyed the visit! Have a great weekend! 💕
Hi Gayle! Boy, your beautiful slow stitched cover was a great find for Forgotten Frends Friday!! It was fun seeing all the gorgeous fall kits being put together! Thank you!🧡
Good Morning Gayle! Happy Crafting Friday. Beautiful cover and colors. That’s what I’ll be doing today..brushing coffee on window envelopes, got a big box at the thrift store yesterday. Have great day and wonderful weekend. 👍🌻🌻🌻🐰
Love watching you put together your journals. I always learn something. When you were looking for a stamp for the envelope, I was telling you to use one of the rabbit ones. They are so cute and look especially cute with florals I think. I checked with Artymaze and she said the digital you thought was hers wasn’t hers. If you remember where it came from would you let me know? I really love it!
I know it's been a year that you filmed this but I was wondering where you got that beautiful paper it's so pretty I don't know where you got it though I don't remember you saying.
Gayle, the journal kits are beautiful. I am sorry you had to stop sewing the slow stitch journal cover. I purchased a journal cover kit from your friend Diane and I was watching closely to make sure I have all of the steps down. (I have been watching older videos in your play list too.) The fabrics are so pretty I just want to be sure I do not mess up! Do I remember correctly that you try to put sixteen pages in the signature? Thanks!
Yes! 15 to 20 pages for a single signature journal. All I did was zigzag around the edges, so you didn’t miss much. I know I’ve done other covers like this one on videos too, so you’ve probably seen them. ❤️
I’m not sure…it’s old. I thought it might be Artymaze or Tsunami Rose, but, I’m sorry, I’m not sure. I prepared that digital kit literally years ago. 🤷🏻♀️❤️
Hi there! Great question! The envelope creates a base that gives the cover stability. You could use a file folder or an old book cover too. Lots of ways to make covers. I have a playlist called Journal Cover Series that might be helpful. 😊❤
@@gayleagostinelli_ct wow that fantastic, I’ll look the list up. By the way, what a jolly person you are, one doesn’t get bored watching you, my kind of person 😊😊🙏
Not all printers print borderless. When your printer dies then make sure you get one that prints borderless. My HP printed borderless but I had to lie to it, I had to tell it that I was printing on photo paper or presentation paper in order to get the borderless setting to pop-up even if I was just printing on plain paper. I waited to get my Epson eco-tank until I could find one that printed borderless and that was a good price, thank you Sam’s Club.
Oh Gayle Murphys law was in your corner today. I'd be fine with a bobbin wind, they don't take a minute. This is going to be a romantical journal. My nieces used to say romantical when they were little, now they're married and starting families!
I forgot to add something to my comment, I have 3 printers and none of them print borderless. I even contacted Brother to ask about my laser printer and at the time they told me they did not make a printer that prints completely borderless. My newest, an Epson Eco Tank will print borderless only when printing 4x6 photos but not full sheets. I know people try to give all kinds of advise on how to do it but many printers are not capable of printing borderless. Sure would save time but I wouldn't trade my Eco Tank for anything! You can purchase an eco tank that prints borderless but not at a price that I can afford! Oh well!
It's amazing what you find, when you go through crafting supplies after you have been so busy with life and other projects. So glad you found it. It's a beautiful collection and cover Gayle.
Wow that was a real dear friend that you forgot. Slow stitching takes so time. What a happy find.

Hi Gayle😊
Really cool slow stitch cover and its nice to clear off the project cart. I have mine on overload right now!😂 Hope you had a good weekend!💕
Hear ya hear ya! On the white edges left on printouts. Have tried everything myself to omit them. Paper cutters to the rescue.
That cover is simply gorgeous, Gayle! So happy you found this forgotten friend, it needs to be admired! 😍💕

I’m excited for autumn journals. These are so pretty. I grabbed the chapter one kit for myself.
A little bit of "Stand By Me" moments. Fun
This cover is so beautiful!!!! I wouldn’t even attempt that slow stitching but you did a beautiful job on it!
I can't get rid of the edges, either. Good to know I'm not alone

Maybe Tsunami Rose then? It was around the time when I was on both design teams. 🤷🏻♀️❤️
@@gayleagostinelli_ct Thx Gayle, I’ll check out Tsunami Rose
The stitched cover is gorgeous. What size do you make your cover if you want to have more than one signature
I know it's been a year that you filmed this but I was wondering where you got that beautiful paper it's so pretty I don't know where you got it though I don't remember you saying.
Hi Debbie! I’m not sure where the digitals came from, but they look like either Artymaze or Tsunami Rose. ❤

No, the fabric came that way. 😁❤️
Hi Gayle Iam very new to slow stitching, crawling 😂. Watching your videos, I cldnt understand why you use envelopes in between, pls let me know 😊

One of them says "mouchete" on it.
