Wolfs? LMAO!
Yup, they hunted wolfs ( European ones are smaller) with the old breed of IWH on the island and succeeded, that is one of the reasons why they were no more needed after the wolfs were rooted out. The ' revived' breed is more 'gentle' , from each litter the kindest ones were chosen for breeding purposes ( apparently for safety issues), that's the reason why they are now called ' the kind/nice giant'.
