I watched this 3 years ago and didn’t realize it until 10 minutes into the movie. It’s as compelling as the first time… fabulous script, and an equally fabulous roster of quality actors! I didn’t realize how much I miss watching Gillian Anderson on screen til I saw this movie again. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I watched a movie with her and the actor who plays Mr. Bean. She was a snotty woman in a James Bond spoof where she was head of others, like the gal in James Bond flicks. Tubi has it still I think. Check it out. She must have struggled not to laugh it break character with the guy. I lived it. Look under comedies. Soon as you see Mr. Beans face to you find the actual movie. 😊👍🏻🙋🏻♀️🇨🇦 Sorry I forget the name right now. 🥴
The acting is perfection. The story is amazing and seemingly, quite logical delving into the quantum world as it does. This is one of my favorite movies, and I have the dvd. My math is not up to understanding the equations, but I love physics and trying to understand our world and the universe (multiverse, other dimensions, etc). ❤
John Denver's songs filled my teenage and adolescent years. Listening to the timeless songs still fills me with intense longing for those very good times. He really left the world a better place, touched by his genious and intense personality. Leaving us with a tear or two...
Strong emotion , heart felt wow❤ don't get too nostalgic mate some songs bring back memories sure,or is it just conditioning,they stir the emotions like a pebble ricoshade in still 🌊🙏

If you like real science fiction, no monsters and a thoughtful story about the human condition, then this is for you. Very good cast with the excellent Rufus Sewell, the fabulous Gillian Anderson, a very natural Haley Joel Osment and the always sturdy Victor Garber. Do not believe the critics, they understand almost nothing about this genre. I doubt any of them have read good science fiction anyway.
Hehehe, as with most scipts playing out today. Not sheeple, but undergraduates having to experience the road of illusions. Another great movie beyond the general appeal, and it starred Robin Williams, was " What Dreams May Come". More subtle but also extremely profound, was The Fisher King and a favorite was Contact and how it demonstrated parallel realities, not forgetting Groundhog Day of course. My view is, those who were inspired to make such movies are time travellers, not in the lineal sense, or even conscious, but from simultanious parallel realities. There is always a thread between through which the inspiration flows. That thread is described in a number of disciplines and showed up in another inspired movie 2001. The thread was noticable at the end when the foetus appeared.
As a Christian I get it. Sheep is like a put down to make you feel superior. But you are just the same as anybody else. Flawed, prone to pride, stubborn, ego driven, weak and blind. As we all can be. You base an assumption you arrive at then assume nobody Gets It. 😂🧏🇨🇦

Intuition telling us to stay home and discovering we avoided a tragedy ourself had we gone out. It is what you are comfortable with saying things happen for a reason at some point in your life. Everything is part of a greater whole. Mysteries exist. She chose an open term many relate to, either mysticism, faith or trusting your gut. ❤ Maybe all of them.

This is the best movie, that I have seen in Years. The Actors are brilliant and the story line, so many of us would love a second chance with losing someone you love so deeply. I found this movie bittersweet and beautiful. Thank you so much in bringing it to us ,the audience. 😢❤

Ive never watched a movie on TH-cam until now. Honestly the title is nothing to draw you in...yet I felt I HAD to watch this movie...and Im glad I did. I got a lump in my throat at the end as I find myself contemplating my own choices and where they've brought me. Make the right choice NOW... we always know what it is.. we just dont always choose to listen to that little voice in the back of our minds and regret it later. This is a FANTASTIC movie.
Noticed that too, even though I think make up may have added a wrinkle or two to forehead, or maybe removed them and changed the lighting to make Gillian Anderson appear a bit younger. Perhaps a little bit of both.
Oh my goodness, what a brilliant movie, I could scroll endlessly through prime or Netflix and never come up with a gem like this with top class actors and actresses. Many thanks for making this accessible 💙
What a great movie on time travel. Usually they are over complicated with rules, paradoxes and such. Not here. Simple, powerful message with a well thought out ending! Great story with very believable actors. I give it 5 out of 5 stars!

This is a sleeper kind of film. It's morals well established by the end. Normally we see this guy refuse to return for the sake of the love of his family. Was refreshing to see a man use his common sense instead of blindly following what could be disaster.
A beautifully paced film with superb performances, especially by Haley Joel Osment. He is capable of transmitting through his eyes such incredible depths of human suffering. Exquisite acting.
Absolutely right! I can't forget those eyes since Spielberg's AI. Artificial intelligence. That Osment's robot kid was so delicate touching and heartwarming, so dramatic and powerful with all that his passion to become a human,that the whole great movie was all around him like one big closeup shot.
WOW! What a story! To my mind, this is the very best type of sci-fi, a head-on collision between the human condition and humanity's thirst to explore the unknown, aka "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing". The facts are easier to learn than wisdom.

what a beautiful sad, with happy ending story. i loved it. it reminds me of the number of times we return to life to fulfill what was always destined to happen . Ebert Siskel & Ebert would rate it a 5 * thumbs up,
She was oblivious. She didn't realize that she was holding him back from his passion and his life goal; to find his father. There would've always been a terrible hole in his heart unless he did what he was meant to do. I found herself and she had a huge lack of understanding. Hopefully this time around he sees it and meets someone else.

Hello, am also an engineer and have read books about quantum physics and dynamics. It was hard to keep up with the science, but from what I remember a lot of the science was accurate. Great story and superlative acting. Thoroughly recommend.😊
This was brilliant! A very “Sliding Doors” (Early Gweneth Paltrow) type of film, this was so well written with excellent actors and 🍁 Made in Canada!🍁 - an 8.5/10. 🍿

Ditto. In movie theatres back in the day, at the end of Forrest Gump I had tp get out before the lights came back on. Silly as it still is, Men weren't supposed to cry in the 1980 or 1990s either... especially not at a movie. ET did the same.
Solid and beautiful story. I love the dialogues here. Just on point, no banalities or sentimental cliches you might expect. Maybe because the characters are introverts.
Well, im not someone who reads comments prior to watching a film but i did read the first half dozen & with no surprise, considering the cast, it was refreshing to read such praise & Intelligent comment. Its so long since ive enjoyed a good sci-fi film without a shock a minute, over the top, silly Spec/fx & sprawling nonsensical Storyline & script. So i shall sit back, eat my sticky toffee pudding & custard ( a rare treat!) & indulge myself with GOOD film. Peace 🇬🇧👧

This is a sleeper kind of film. It's morals well established by the end. Normally we see this guy refuse to return for the sake of the love of his family. Was refreshing to see a man use his common sense instead of blindly following what could be disaster.

His Richard the 3rd on stage was legendary, exceptional Actor. He’s in the league of Olivier, Branagh , and few others.
The story line was fabulous and makes you wonder if this could ever happen. The acting was brilliant as well.

Absolutely right! I can't forget those eyes since Spielberg's AI. Artificial intelligence. That Osment's robot kid was so delicate touching and heartwarming, so dramatic and powerful with all that his passion to become a human,that the whole great movie was all around him like one big closeup shot.

WOW! What a story! To my mind, this is the very best type of sci-fi, a head-on collision between the human condition and humanity's thirst to explore the unknown, aka "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing". The facts are easier to learn than wisdom.

She was oblivious. She didn't realize that she was holding him back from his passion and his life goal; to find his father. There would've always been a terrible hole in his heart unless he did what he was meant to do. I found herself and she had a huge lack of understanding. Hopefully this time around he sees it and meets someone else.

Outstanding. Intelligent, excellent pace, superlative acting. I am an engineer and have read a little about quantum physics, wouldn't pretend to understand it but I do believe that nothing is impossible.
Hello, am also an engineer and have read books about quantum physics and dynamics. It was hard to keep up with the science, but from what I remember a lot of the science was accurate. Great story and superlative acting. Thoroughly recommend.😊
