The director of Minus One is a fan of the Legendary US Godzilla (especially the 2014 version), so he incorporated some of that into the design, but if you look carefully, you'll see that it's actually an amalgomation of a few different Godzilla designs, with some unique elements added on top :) Would love to do a side by side video comparison of them all soon!!
When did they start this Gozilla Ichiban Kuji in japan? I noticed they also produce Shin godzilla, Godzilla 2014 etc. How many Godzilla versions are being released now? So if you have all the tickets from A to H, you can get the Last Prize for free?
You have to buy ALL remaining tickets to get the LAST ONE prize. My wife actually went back a couple days later and bought all the remaining ones, so we got the Last Prize too.
yeah, only select shops have them and they only get 1-2 of the big items. once they are gone, they don't get more. each week or month they rotate the prizes with other non-related stuff, like Disney, Dragon Ball, etc

I did go back and try again to win more of the head magnets, I've got a full set of the ones from the last Godzilla Ichiban Kuji, but only ended up with Space Godzilla (one of my least favorite kaiju) this time. Oh well!! If you wait a few weeks, the magnet heads will start to show up in the junk bins at Surugaya & Book-Off for around ¥300 - so just be patient! :)

Shin Godzilla really boosted it's popularity in 2016, as it became the top grossing movie that year (until it was beaten by the anime "Your Name", which became the highest grossing Japanese film of all time) - and right now Minus One is the top grossing film in Japan. Godzilla's popularity has made a HUGE comeback here in Japan. The monsterverse films have also helped tremendously with young audienced here.
It’s a pvc statue from the Bandai-Namco Sofvics line. They don’t put SH Monsterarts into these lotteries. BUT, the SH version does come out in just over a week! Will definitely be grabbing it 😊
