Produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by me.

Tuning: Drop G (G, D, G, C, F, A, D)
Guitar Tone: Neural DSP Fortin Nameless Suite + GGD Cali Studio Cabs
Bass Tone: Submission Audio Djinn Bass
Drums: GGD Invasion + Steven Slate Trigger 2
Drop G is like the modern drop C
Drop g is the drop c of the 7 string world lol. It’s just d standard with the 7th string dropped.
Except all the amateurs who use it (note: I said, amateurs, not pros) tend to have no fucking idea how to EQ Drop G.
I thought double drop C was the new drop c 🤔😂
@@Pure_KodiakWILD_Power , this guy gets it. He gets it, everyone. Give him a round of applause.
@@SamBrockmannand neither group writes good riffs with it
The pipeline from Thrown leading all the way back to Sworn In is deep.
Yup. The Death Card was 10 years ahead of its time 😂
I used to love Sworn In, I'm so happy that style is coming back around
You know when I first heard Thrown something felt so familiar about them, and then I realized they had some real influence by sworn in which is aweosme
@@30thcenturymanYES
damn im relistening to them again. it was hard for me to get into them cuz the vocals but yeah crazy they were ahead of their time regarding their nu-metalcore style
That mix is nice, the riffs are nice, killing it!!
Thank you so much man!!
this channel can be summed up in one word: UNDERRATED!
I feel like I’ve been Thrown back to the early 00’s and I love it
the tone hits the spot
Dat midrange feel
0:50 that transition was fucking nasty! Good job dude
Sick riffs, great mix, and respect for the flashing light warning! 🤘
Thank you bro, and yeah it had to be said for the epileptic! 🤘🖤
Absolute killer mix dude
This is sick! You nailed their sound!
Awesome work all around dude, great job on all fronts!!!
Thank you dude!!!
It’s crazy to think bands like sworn in yuth forever and a few other bands were so ahead of its time
I think I’d give almost anything to have Yüth come back. No one else has done anything remotely close to what they did.
VCTMS is close but it’s just not the same.
@@FurorAeternumXBL dude me and you both I still listen to those two albums they dropped I’d give my first born for barrier to come back as well
@@yskdiablo9640I'd give my left nut for barrier, yuth (villains), sworn in and silence to come back. They all were so ahead of their time people needed 10 more years to actually understand what amazing stuff these bands put out. And now 10 years later almost every modern metalcore band is influenced by the things these bands did
@@sadoromi i couldn’t have said it better myself homie the scene literally shit all over those bands and now everyone loves that same kind of music
I can’t listen to this and not have some stank-face. Love it!
1:13 made me crowdkill my cat
Holy fucking shitnuggets that's heavy
1:18 I INSTANTLY REMEMBERED KUBLAI KHAN TX
SIMPLE, GROOVIE AND F000CKING HEAVY
DUDE so sick. Here from your short haha. Love it
Eyyyy welcome man and thank you; your videos are really good by the way!
@@iamjacktaylor thanks bro!
HELL YA DUDE
Nailed it dude. Heavy as hell!
Thank you dude!
Bro...this is perfect
Duuuude the mix is so clean... This rips!
Dope G drop tunning 🤘🫨 head bang
That was so pleasurable to my ears
this mix is crazy good!
What a song guys …??? Killer sound man 🔥🔥🤘🤘
This goes fucking insane
This is subscribe worthy for sure.
Nailed It 🤘🤘
slightly unusual tone but it works so well in this context! I'm a sucker for 7 strings with weird unconventional body shapes too haha, great work!
Dude, this is so fucking sick. Love the outro, the kicks and hi-hat NU-Metal vibe was tasty as fuck!
Thank you dude, just thought it'd be nice to throw in something different! 🤘
You mean trap beat? Because that's not nu metal.
@@mammontustado9680 true, korn and limp bizkit back in late 90s early 2000s (nu metal era) def werent incorporating hip hop elements into their music! its def not linked to nu metal at all!!
I love how fat the tone for thrown is. Makes me feel like a caveman when I'm working out
that was tough man, keep it up. idfk what you did to that kick and snare but well done, shit is explosive.
Much appreciated man! I basically did lots of processing using not only GGD drums but a couple of kick and snare drum samples, then more EQ processing, opto compression, saturation and clipping. Not just for a better sound, it's to give you more options to craft the sound you want.
So fucking good dude!
Sooo gooddddd I almost confused with an actual thrown song
2019 alpha wolf core and now 2024 thrown core
AYO??? THATS HOT
Loved the riffs man 🤘just missing a few pitch shifted notes and pick scrapes they always seem to work in magically 😂
Nice 🤘
i wanna put vocals on this holy shit good work mane
I already did. Enjoy. All for it if someone thinks they can do better! Nothing but love!

Cheers dude! 🖤
dude this is so good!
Thank you fella!
This hits so hard 😭😭
It's a nan slapper this one

Legit sounds like it could be from Excessive Guilt

Massive! I have all these plugins but all lack production sound. A mixing and mastering turorial on your end would be very helpful to me. I see alot of nu metal style playthrough productions going on lately that have this huge powerful production coming from them but no on has showed thier mixing and mastering technique but this productiuon seems to sound vastly similar to the rest of nu metal productions and so clearly it cant be that hard to do. Ive done it all! to using a million mix and mastering plugins to creating busses, leveling audio ect, I use 7 and 8 string ibanez's with fishmans, I use GGD and Superior Drummer 3, im even using STL Tonehub anmd Clarvoyant with my guitars running through my Helic rack as a interface and still everyting seems stale as fuck. I need desperate help on Getting this sound production.
I will be starting some tutorials this year and willing to help everyone like yourselves. Sorry to hear you are struggling to get a good mix, but the good thing is you are trying hard! I will do my best to guide you when I do some mixing tutorials :)
@@iamjacktaylor Awesome! Subbed! Hope to be diving in soon!
what a banger
Thank you man!
yw! btw the riff at 1:12 as an Alpha Wolf feel were you inspired by that band as well ? @@iamjacktaylor
@@Tranzeester sort of, but I am definitely inspired by Alpha Wolf to make good riffs even if I didn't think much of it in the making of this track :)
ah I see, you became alpha wolf 2 then hahahaha @@iamjacktaylor
backfire came on Spotify while I was walking home from Kroger and I almost started a mosh pit in a cop car parked at the bank in the ball
No coming back from thrown
Goon music

🌟 rock 🌟
This is so sick, sounds like something Thrown would write. 🤘
Imagine if they did! 😱
Video is sixteen seconds longer than the average Thrown song.
Yo this smacked 💀
Definitely smacks a nan
baaannnggeeerrrrraaaaaaannng!
My gosh, what do you use for your tone? It's easily one of the most brutal tones I've heard in a while
First of all, it's c1 gate to suppress noise when not playing the guitar, then pre-eq to get rid of the high end information and boosting the midrange for a percussive pick attack, next the neural dsp fortin nameless only using the pedals and amp head and then ggd cali cab using 2 cabinets and the sm57 :)
Sick as always! Love me some Thrown! Can I add vocals to this??
Thanks dude! Huge fan of that band. Yes you can do that, as long as you give credit (I can name a few who haven't!)
@@iamjacktaylorI would absolutely give you credit! Would love to work with you!
bro how do you make those beats??? lol sick
Battery 4 by native instruments! :)
i’ve always played those weird little harmonics on the first three frets when im just not focusing on actually playing and have been looking for music that actually implements them, does thrown do that a lot???
More snare overtones
Is that a baritone guitar? 🎸
I don’t think so. It has a 25.5 inch scale, 24 frets and the fixed bridge is stock.
gj you played the same 4 notes for 2 min
Ayo kinda want to rip vocals on this.... would I be stepping on any toes or can I get some stems together for you this weekend?
Go for it man! I might have to put together a collection of stem files and raw audio files as I'm being asked constantly. Whatever you want to do, or you can have the .WAV file of the actual track as it's better quality?
All i hear is Alpha Wolf
😂😂
Midi tabs please 🙏🙉🤘
Yo Jack, could I throw down some vocals on this track? 👀 I'll tag you for credits.
You can dude! Let me know when it’s up

@@djent2689 i second this
@@iamjacktaylor I want one too! :D
You sure you werent listening to alphawolf?
That’s a good question aha
2:16, too long for a thrown song
30% longer than a Thrown song
Low frequency boost on the snare is the major selling point lmao
No hate tho this is prob the best mix on a short youtube vid rn
@@poopguy6208 It's chill bro, I appreciate that! No more tinny snare :)
