Thank you Mark for explaining "Hand" mode. Apparently I had hit it during a time-reset, and couldn't figure out how to return the hands to the correct position. All good now!
The watch looks better and more maskuline with the screws the way they are set from Casio on this type of watch. Is this a model without radio control?
Marc Goldberg Just realized mine has sapphire glass. Big, tough, good looking, never needs a battery (solar), no maintenance, gets the time via radio transmitter, stopwatch, timer, multiple alarms, world time, etc. Love it.
Marc Goldberg It says "Sapphire Glass" on the caseback. I also found an article on it that says, "Notes: The GW-A1100 has a sapphire crystal which is only available on a few high-end G-Shock models."
YES WITH THE SCREWS ,TO ALIGN TIGHTEN THEM ALL UP 100%, THEN LOOSEN VERY SMALL AMOUNTS ON EACH UNTIL ALIGNED, IF YOU DO PLAN ON GOING SWIMMING BELOW 4 FT, JUST TIGHTEN THEM BACK UP
I wish the watch had the Bluetooth connection and I like the black backgrounds with a backlight (I wish this watch had them) rather than the grey. Bluetooth would eliminate the frustration of the manual. Overall nice watch. I also like the smaller size. I guess this is what sells me on the watch.
I actually own two G-shocks. One is on daylighr savings time and the other one is in regular time. The reason for this is because manual just’s too big too read so I’ve never found out how to change time on either of them.
I know what you mean. Actually it’s pretty easy to do. Just Google your model and find the PDF of the manual. Once you do it a few times it will be a piece of cake. Until you get used to reading that style of manual, it’s a real head scratcher but eventually you will have a eureka moment and bond with your Manuel and your G-Shock‘s and all their functions.
Hi there East17A. I'm no expert with this watch (still learning!!) but I think that if you hold in "button A", it will initially show "ADJ" on the right hand dial. If, however, you CONTINUE holding in button A, it will then show "H.SET" in the right hand dial. When this happens, the analogue hands "should" go to the exact 12:00 position and, if they don't, use buttons B and D to move the analogue hands to the 12:00 position (if you have to move them a lot, just keep them pressed in until you get to the 12:00 position). When the analogue hands are at the 12:00 position, just press button "A" again and the hands will move back and (hopefully!!) will match the digital time. At least, that's how I fixed mine - hopefully by following the above, it will bring a smile to your face - Good luck and happy new year too!!! Raymond
Hey can you reply to me about this watch I've read the manual twice and still can't get the hands to stay even after manually move them and then go into settings
Have you ever tried on an AP Offshore or an Hublot Big Bang? I have a very similar GShock and I bought for rough wearing or sports etc.. agree with you. You ought to get an AP Diver. Cheers 🍻

Great video! Are the digital displays smaller on the 300 series vs the 100?
Brilliant video and presentation.
Will get this in the future, Such a nice watch. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent explanation. Now I can buy one and know how to use it. Thanks.
I have the GST-W100G in black with a rubber wristband. In love this watch.
Cool watch. Would like the option of not having all those engravings on the face of the bezel. 😀⌚
Nice video.

I think almost all of them have mineral glass so I’m not too sure about your sapphire but maybe you have some kind of special model.

Hello
How to set world times , some times are inaccurate?
you should feel safe to leave the screws alone
AP offshore is coming for you, I can say by now 😉
Hi. I am from Baku. If I buy this watch how do I set the right time, since Baku is not on the list ?
You simply pick a city In your same time zone.
Than you.
Any way you can share the PDF? Thanks
Nothing wrong with Casio G-Shocks. I wear a GPW 2000 all the time.
I have a same one too
Is funny ... I have the manuals of my Casio or electronic watches as a pdf on the phone.....
Find something else to screw Marc!! ;)
I wouldn’t adjust the screws for fear of disturbing the G-Shock force.
