    Oh I just love this species! I can’t resist a bitty spotted Catt, and the bifoliates are my fav. This is definitely the best video I’ve seen on the aclandiae, btw. Great info and the way you put it together was very easy to understand. (And your cat is super adorable!)

    This is beautiful. Until I am comfortable to care for this type of cattleya, I will hold off- I have a few baby cattleyas that I am learning to grow now, when they give me their first blooms, I can say that I can try other species in my type of environment. Thank you. This had been on my wish list. I am a follower now, I hope you make more current videos. 🙂

    Hi Jose,i love this video so much. I want to ask,whats the age-maturity when the this Cattleya blooming?

  • @michaelmccarthy4077
    @michaelmccarthy4077 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    For whatever reason, the spotted Cattleyas just don't do it for me (except C. amethystoglossa, which is twice as weird that I like it because I'm not a fan of pink either). And I can't believe you suggested that it is OK to use tap water on orchids! OMG! 😛 Cute kitty, he looks pretty comfy in that pile of blankets.

    • @TheOrchidGeek
      @TheOrchidGeek  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Michael McCarthy it's alright, I have some friends who hate the spots because it makes them think of Chicken Pox haha
      And I wouldn't say "recommend" but if you only have access to Tap, at least use a Fertilizer that will help your plant get what it needs.
      Thank you so much! I'm sure Cheetos was super comfy LOL!😁😄

    • @michaelmccarthy4077
      @michaelmccarthy4077 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was only joking about tap water, I use it. I only filter it to take out the really bad stuff (chlorine/chloramine and heavy metals) and let the rest be, but my tap isn't so bad either. 🙂

    • @TheOrchidGeek
      @TheOrchidGeek  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Michael McCarthy I use Tap too! Thankfully my city's Tap isn't too Bad either, otherwise I might have to treat it. I have been thinking about setting up a Reverse Osmosis unit but IDK 🤔 time will tell :P
