Suggestion, for those who wanted to play Kaveh without Nilou.. You can use either Sucrose or Diona (C6) to be his support, both give him EM buff, and CC (Swirl Vacuum / Freeze ) Adjusting to your need.. and as for weapon, after trying out weapons, EM & ER substats.. Imo, he is much better using Sacrificial Greatsword to amped up his bloom dmg.. This is much better against multiple enemies.. He is much better being paired up with Kokomi (EM), as using Diona / Sucrose help gathering the enemies around her jellyfish.. The gameplay idea is, to have the enemies gather around kokomi jellyfish, with the help of diona (freezing the enemies in place) or sucrose (vacuum & knockup) with the 2nd dendro (preferably Nahida, but Dendro MC / Collei / Baizhu works well) applying the first dendro, allowing kokomi to proc dendro cores.. Swap into Kaveh, use his Burst, giving more dendro cores bonus dmg and instantly pop the cores that kokomi creates.. do a few NAs to generate some dendro cores, then use his skill.. when u use his skill, it will pop the existing dendro cores, while simultaneously creating new dendro cores.. with Sac passive resetting the cooldown, it will allow you to instantly pop those new cores as well as creating another batch.. Wait till he gets the particles and do few more hits.. then swapped to the other characters, and do the whole rotation again..
I feel like Mihoyo added him because before this Nilou had a monopoly on the bloom reaction, and she's a character that a lot of people don't have easy access to. It would feel weird not being able to effectively experiment with an entire elemental reaction unless you got a specific limited character. Like, Hu Tao doesn't "own" vaporise. Ayaka doesn't "own" freeze. But for the longest time Nilou owned the bloom reaction, until now where we have a much easier to obtain 4 star character who enables anyone to play a bloom comp.
Pity then that (at least according to this guide) we need to get him to C6 to be worth playing in a team without her 😔 I don’t plan on pulling for her, so unfortunately he’ll probably end up on the bench with the other super niche 4* characters that need C6 to accomplish their intended function.
@@silla42 I have him at C2 and love playing him in burgeon. He's in a full 4* team and can clear abyss well. He might need C6 for a pure bloom team, but he is generally good at boosting the other types as well

i would do nilou’s e first as its only used to activate her passive and lasts 30s and then baizhu -> XQ for XQ’s burst to last as long as possible during kaveh Q baizhu’s Q can expire whenever since only responsible for survivability

u will need more dendro app than just nahida off field to make kokomi bloom consistently, say u have kaveh nahida kokomi sucrose/diona as u suggested, its not gonna be that well, diona doesnt apply cryo that often and is burst reliant in that realm to even make fridge mechanic up, so sucrose and diona wont work, u would rather use triple dendro and kokomi/barbara or kaveh xingqiu kokomi nahida where kaveh procs blooms, which is underwhelming, please dont suggest anything like this before u know what ur talking about and make sure ur not spreading misinformation out there
a couple of comments from someone who has been studying Kaveh's kit for months: 1. his talent priority in spread should be NA > skill > burst. his burst and skill damage multipliers are really low and in a spread team a majority ot his damage comes from his NAs, bc his skill only hits every 6 seconds and his burst is only cast every 20 seconds spread kaveh isn't a very good idea ngl but if you do run it, that's the best order for talents 2. shatterbloom can work with other cryo besides Rosaria! Ganyu is a solid choice although I know most people don't want to run her burst support 3. he's actually great for burgeon bc of his tank abilities. doesn't make the use of all of his kit but I think hes a very safe burgeon driver
Shatterbloom is the one that I accidentally use in overworld lmao. Idk why I get 10k physical dmg while my Kaveh is at 1-1-6, then I remember that shatter exist lol.
Hello! I'm having a bit trouble committing to full EM Kaveh because the only team I'm putting him into is Nilou's team, which consists of Nilou, Nahida and Kokomi. I fear that full EM Kaveh will be overshadowed since in any proper rotation there's so much dendro applied that it almost certainly becomes the aura and hydro the trigger. So as far as I can see, there isn't a time where Kaveh is procking blooms himself. I've seen videos that replace Kokomi to XQ for better hydro application, but even then it seems not even he can keep up to overtake Nahida's dendro application... And before someone suggests i replace nahida for some other dendro, she's nahida bruh, and I got her c2 so she's not moving teams. I'm thinking maybe it'll be more worthwhile to have my Kaveh built full dendro damage, as to at least do some peanut damage. The only benefit I see for full EM in a kaveh team where he isn't procking bloom whatsoever is that he's indeed the most comfortable character to on-field due to his self healing and resistance to dendro at c1. I guess this could be incentive enough? I don't know, maybe I'm overthinking things. I would love to hear what you guys think, let me know if I understood things wrong as everyone seems to be so on board with EM Kaveh on a Nilou team (and I was, before seeing him in action) Also worth mentioning, I truly adore Kaveh and since his release it's made me really happy he seems to have a very specific niche, makes it easier for me to give him a spot in one of my teams (being that I have Nahida, Alhaitham and Baizhu as well covering the quicken and hyperbloom teams)
you are understanding things correctly. imo kaveh's main value is freeing up nahida from nilou's team otherwise he just kinda... exists. his dendro application is not nearly as fast as yaoyao's during burst, so he's gotta play the long game. i would say if you only use nahida for nilou's team, i would still build kaveh his normal EM route so as to worry about his build in the future, unless you plan to take the spread dps path
I usually put instructor on Kaveh since he won’t be the one triggering the reaction, you need to make sure he has enough ER to get by though. I think rather than Kokomi using XQ is better in this team, he has better hydro app, and Kaveh’s self-heal is surprisingly enough for abyss (you can give Nahida the prototype amber for comfort)

A caveat for c6 kaveh in hyperbloom/burgeon: the mini E's that come every 3 secs may interfere with your reactions since he'll be stealing blooms aways from your electro/pyro trigger

I have a question. I managed to attain C6 Kaveh but i was warned against activating it because it could mess up teams in hyperbloom and burgeon. But since Xlice didn't mention anything does that mean its not as bad as what people made it out to be?
That's just means it'll be far too difficult to do burgeon/hyperbloom since your core will explode every 3s, as normal blooms. They can still happen, but not reliable/regularly.
I do have this question though. Is there weapon range/reach? I mean considering bows, catalysts and melee, there is. But I wanted to be a bit deeper. Examples: Heizou melee, Deyha punch. Since Kaveh is not holding his weapon, is his range/reach longer than normal claymore users(Diluc, Beidou, Eula).Certainly Noelle has expanded range when using her Ultimate. I mean while the weapon sizes to a character does it also affect range?
"And if you choose not use Nilou"......my man i dont think anyone "Chooses" not use Nilou.......its more likely that some if not most of us dont have her.....
I feel like the value of A1 is not seen enough... indeed Kaveh spend most of the time on field and by healing himself, there is no need for a healer anymore allowing a new buffer to the team such as Nahida or a Xingqiu (or yelan, or Furina if crazzy enough)
My kaveh is c2 and i have no nilou. Gonna have to work around that. But i was only gonna build him cuz me and my friend are gonna do a mono dendro team for fun and,, i see i have my work cut out for me 😭
I have him at 80 (cuz bai ate all my dendro gems) with r5 90 mailed flower and talents up to 7’s. my issue now is that i want a bloom kaveh but my gilded set is the only one giving me good stats and EM priority. I’ve lost so much resin to farming Paradise Lost lol all of his artifacts aren’t upgraded cuz I’m still on the fence if I want to commit to the gilded or waste even more resin in the Paradise domain 😂😢
Looking forward to build this fellow once I arrive in Sumeru. My main DPS is Beidou but this guy should finally be able to shred my biggest annoyance at AR 40, Fatui Agents. Seriously f those shields. I'd rather fight Abyss Mages. They at least have the decency to keep being stunned once broken.

Im currently running kaveh, xinqiu, baizhu, and fourth slot is alternating. I dont have kokomi or nilou, would slotting in rosaria and going shatter do more dmg than if I stuck to standard bloom and added mona?
How do I build the cryo character for a shatterbloom team? I will be using Rosaria since she's c6. Would Missive Spear be a decent weapon for her? Thanks!

i love kaveh dont get me wrong but im so worried that so many good 4* dendro characters will do bloom better than nilou and that would make her a very low tier 5* in the future, hopefully shes still the best person to put in a bloom team in the future
You need 46 items from the 40-resin boss. Since that is the Dendro Hypostasis for Kaveh, pre-farming would have been easy. For the new 60-resin boss, you only need 6 drops for 8/8/8 talents, doable in two or three weeks.
In theory, you don't need consistent "insta bloom" for him to work. After 6th core enters the field, the oldest core will explode prematurely. Meaning, the delay for bloom explotions will be as short as your delay between elemental reaction (i.e. faster application = faster explotions)

If you're not getting your burst on cool down then use Favonious.

Would a bloom/spread team work? Because beidou cant hit the seeds with her burst, ive been thinking about doing a hybrid kaveh on the paradise flower set. Team would be Kaveh, dendro, xq/yelan and beidou.

I have a question. I managed to attain C6 Kaveh but i was warned against activating it because it could mess up teams in hyperbloom and burgeon. But since Xlice didn't mention anything does that mean its not as bad as what people made it out to be?
That's just means it'll be far too difficult to do burgeon/hyperbloom since your core will explode every 3s, as normal blooms. They can still happen, but not reliable/regularly.
I do have this question though. Is there weapon range/reach? I mean considering bows, catalysts and melee, there is.
But I wanted to be a bit deeper. Examples: Heizou melee, Deyha punch. Since Kaveh is not holding his weapon, is his range/reach longer than normal claymore users(Diluc, Beidou, Eula).Certainly Noelle has expanded range when using her Ultimate. I mean while the weapon sizes to a character does it also affect range?

I feel like the value of A1 is not seen enough... indeed Kaveh spend most of the time on field and by healing himself, there is no need for a healer anymore allowing a new buffer to the team such as Nahida or a Xingqiu (or yelan, or Furina if crazzy enough)
I hate the fact that nilou was on first banner or else I would pull for her and be happy with kaveh/baizhu😭

My kaveh is c2 and i have no nilou. Gonna have to work around that. But i was only gonna build him cuz me and my friend are gonna do a mono dendro team for fun and,, i see i have my work cut out for me 😭

I have him at 80 (cuz bai ate all my dendro gems) with r5 90 mailed flower and talents up to 7’s. my issue now is that i want a bloom kaveh but my gilded set is the only one giving me good stats and EM priority. I’ve lost so much resin to farming Paradise Lost lol all of his artifacts aren’t upgraded cuz I’m still on the fence if I want to commit to the gilded or waste even more resin in the Paradise domain 😂😢
Paradise is marginally better, but not by much. With gilded being more universal I would recommend that over paradise.
I wanted a single Fischl and ended up with C4 Kaveh, oh well, Kaveh main it is.
Man, I built him entirely on ER and Crit. Mans has 60 crit rate and 211 crit damage. Maybe I should reconsider this build lmao

Im currently running kaveh, xinqiu, baizhu, and fourth slot is alternating. I dont have kokomi or nilou, would slotting in rosaria and going shatter do more dmg than if I stuck to standard bloom and added mona?

i love kaveh dont get me wrong but im so worried that so many good 4* dendro characters will do bloom better than nilou and that would make her a very low tier 5* in the future, hopefully shes still the best person to put in a bloom team in the future

Look at the UID. He's on the media server. They probably send them resources.
Maybe it was from the media server wich gives unlimited mats.
You need 46 items from the 40-resin boss. Since that is the Dendro Hypostasis for Kaveh, pre-farming would have been easy. For the new 60-resin boss, you only need 6 drops for 8/8/8 talents, doable in two or three weeks.
You can take old boss mats and make them into new boss mats at the craft table but it costs other materials also

In theory, you don't need consistent "insta bloom" for him to work. After 6th core enters the field, the oldest core will explode prematurely. Meaning, the delay for bloom explotions will be as short as your delay between elemental reaction (i.e. faster application = faster explotions)
Being able to detonate the cores at an appropriate moment is very handy though, as enemies tend to move around.
