    Do you use an electric...or gas powered pressure washer?

    • @felixf5211
      @felixf5211 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't use one at all. For the sort of thing that I do, the cars arrive clean. A rinseless wash is fine. Not even remotely tempted to shoot foam.

    Thanks for the video Brian!
    I have a Ryobi electric pw, cheap Amazon foam cannon and the 1.1mm orifice. I can get great foam however I can barely get around a mini van before my bottle is nearly empty. What is the trick? I've seen other youtubers lay down foam around the whole vehicle twice with a quarter left still in the bottle?
    I've done 2-3 oz soap with either 10 oz water OR the rest of the bottle full of water.

    What product would you recommend to lubricate the quick disconnect coupler on the nozzle(where the foam cannon would attach to). Mine gets stuck sometimes. MTM said any silicone based lubricant would do. Would WD-40 be fine?

    correct me if i'm wrong, but those QD's alone can't swivel under pressure

    • @CTTH100
      @CTTH100 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's been my experience. Has to be a live swivel, I thought, for swiveling under pressure.

    I'm hoping you can help, I just purchased the SG28 with the of 22.2 cannon. When trying to use the stubby, the water shoots out all around the tip but not through the tip. Yes the connections are tight and sealed with teflon tape. I'm using the Ryobi 3300 psi 2.3 gpm gas pressure washer. If I change to the stock Ryobi tip as well as a generic 40° tip to the stubby I get the same results. When I use the stock Ryobi wand with the foam cannon as well as either tip it works fine. I can't do understand why the water is spraying all over the place from around the female quick connect at the tip? There is not an o ring that could be broken?

    Hey Brian I'm currently using a low pressure foam cannon (which I bought for an electric pressure washer) on a 3100psi gas unit. It doesn't seem to work very well. Have you ever tried the 1.1 orfice on high pressure just to see what happens? It's a cheaper generic foam cannon so I'm not sure if the orfice size is hurting performance or if it's just a cheaply built unit.
    Thanks and Happy 4th to you

      The 1.10 is meant for low pressure systems. ... around 2000psi.

    Hey Brian, I'm just pulling together a video demonstrating the difference in flow rates for the generic guns Vs the MTM one, would you mind if I included a bit of your tear down footage in my video? I'll of course put a card to your full video, but I wanted to ask permission rather than just doing it.

    Great informative video Bryan !!!!! I have gone through two of the cheaper Duschin short handles as the trigger tends to break. My next purchase will definitely be a beefier MTM. Do you know what size the inlet is on the MTM? I noticed the Duschin has a threaded male connect while the MTM does not. I need he threaded male to connect to my electric PW. If you happen to know the size it would be very helpful when I order.

    Hey Brian, noticed what looks like a GreenWorks Electric pressure washer in your video...I've got a SunJoe 3000, and I've struggled to figure out how to adapt it to a snub gun? The hose has M22/15mm ends on it, and I've tried to configure things so I can get a snub gun? There has to be an easier way than getting multiple male/female/plug adapters?? I keep running into a dead end....I just want to get a nice 50ft flexible hose and snub gun with one adapter on the output of the SunJoe unit? Oh, and what gas pw are you using in this video?? Happy 4th of July!

      JAMES S Yes, it's a mess converting from M22 15mm to 14mm and I'm not sure if there's a simpler method that doesn't require multiple fittings. Obsessed Garage has an adapter and MTM also has an adapter and other fittings that may help you.

      When I run out of my Angelwax Strip Ease... I will mix an IP at 20%. Keep in mind ... those who install PPF use it to tack. If its no higher than 20%...you will be fine. I say no to using on fresh or soft clear. That is my take on it.

    Is using soap foam really necessary other than being cool looking? Why not wash cars the old way using just soapy water and a mit?

    The width of the tubing isn't the "difference between a high and low pressure unit" its the difference in a high flow and lower flow rated unit lol both of these a junk btw just roll with a suttner st2605
