This was one of the first Contemporary Christian Music groups , I was introduced to them at the youth group I had turned my life over to Jesus Christ , at the age of 17 or 18 yrs. Old. A youth staff leader was handing out Christian Music Cassette tapes. And I chose , this album by WhiteHeart .And it became one of my all time favorites. Their music has always been an Inspiration and Encouragement to me and my life .God has truly Blessed these young man . Now , at 54 yrs old .I still listen to their music. Great group , great message , Pioneers of Christian Music. Sincerely, Tim.
I was there for this. Both shows. My local crew was big part of load in and set up. We are in a few scenes in the beginning. This was at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI. It was a ton of fun back then, set up for lots of bands in those days. Man, I miss the 80's
@@jeffschultz732 I went to see White Heart in 1986 for the "Don't Wait For The Movie" tour, HAD A BLAST !! I was 23 years old, and Rick Florian the lead singer is 9 months older than me, so he was 24 years old at the time! Today, I am 61 and he is 62. I loved the "Don't Wait For The Movie" album, so much so, that while driving home from work one day in 1986, I was rocking to my "Don't Wait For The Movie" cassette and I got a little bit too excited, and got pulled over by the police for going 110 MPH. I paid a lawyer $200 to make that ticket go away, and he did just that, the Ticket NEVER showed up on my driving record, and I NEVER went to court !! Today, a lawyer can't do that !! YEP, I miss the 80's, LOL !!
I just have to say this to young people who may read my story about going 110 MPH, do NOT do it !! It is a one way ticket straight to jail today, and more than likely you will lose your drivers license for one full year !! The 80's was like a whole different era than today !!
I saw that tour in Palmetto Florida and when Rick Florien jumped off the stage during No Aplogy I was the second person he had sing into his microphone
I first saw them on this tour in 1986. And then again on their next tour in 1988. Their music really touched by lost teenage soul. It continues to touch my middle aged soul.
I was always game to drive a hundred miles to see White heart… Columbia SC, Arlington Texas, SMU in Dallas… a few I remember. But then I lived overseas as a ambassador or Jesus as they kept going … “I’ll meet you there” and some other great songs kept coming. Thanks guys.
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing this. Our teen daughter loves White Heart - this many years later, still impacting so many people. Thank you Lord for White Heart.
Although not a cure for cancer, CERTAINLY lifts one from the moment of suffering, into a time when the whole seemed to be rejoicing. Wish we could have these days ONE MORE TIME then RAPTURE.
Hello Tom my prayers are with you to brother ,been in a battle myself for a long time it’s expensive both emotionally and monetarily Jesus can get us through this ✝️✝️keep watching things like this that builds your faith☺️
Oldie but goodie. This is what I grew up listening to in HS. I loved all of their music just as much as Petra. Don't wait for the movie is so relative in our modern society when people just sit around and watch the tube. What he said about CNN is spot on!

Saw this in person at SMU -- won tickets on KLTY - local radio station -- I think I was a freshman in college -- What a concert and what a Group! Saw them every other time they came back to the DFW area -- Not many groups with that much talent -- Gordon played with Eric Clapton after this -- Tommy Sims well known in the music industry -- Obviously Billy and Gersh were GREAT songwriters and musicians to boot. No one compares to the cutting HIGHS of Rick. Miss them, their message and their energy --
I can't tell you how many times I have watched this...what amazing talent!! The lyrics, the musicians, the harmonies, the voices of Rick, Gersh and Gordon on the solos..nothing short of fabulous God given awesomeness!!
Thank you so much for posting this video! This was one of my favorite White Heart albums and to see them live back in the day was AMAZING and so inspiring! God bless! I miss them much. :).

They were so good because almost every one of them could not just play, but could really sing.
Yep, a one of kind band
This takes me right back to 15. Now I pray for just half the energy of Rick. Ha! WH will always have a special place in my ❤.

Listening to this reminds me how old I'm getting to be and how great the music was when I was a young Marine.

The singer reminds me of the band loverboys lead singer.

Do it fellas.
I have a copy of this video but the quality is terrible.
Thanks for posting.
Much prefer the live performance over the studio.
Man, this is special.
Wish I could have seen them in concert back in the day; I don't know if they ever came to Ohio back then
Oh they did! I saw them like 1985, 1987 and 1990 (Oregon).
Beautiful music
