That’s how I do my twists, I call it the rope twist method because stylists do that when they are doing rope twists. However, you don’t need to do it that way, I even 3-strand twist. It’s about preference.

Right on for this video... That whole twisting counterclockwise before you twist them clockwise may be why mine always unraveled and never worked! It looks nice.

I use two strand twists alot and keep it up in a loose bun the protective style helps my hair grow

DUDE! This is my life every six days. My hands cramp up, and I hate doing it. I gotta like, really be in the mood to finish, otherwise, it's just going back into a ponytail. I almost bought one of those Conair braid twist things from the 90s just to make it go faster. 😂 Once your hair is a certain length, this sh*t is a tricep workout.

Ok so we have the EXACT same hair type which is wild. All of your videos are awesome for that. Also I’m glad a guy is doing hair tutorials for this hair type. I know guys with this kind of hair who cut it all off because they don’t have any help or videos etc and it is a tragedy. Keep it up! (My hair is also about as long as yours now and this kind of shit takes a million hours and I’m like is it worth it tho LOL)

Awesome job! Your patience is wonderful lol. I'm not sure of how much product you used (the butter) but if you ever need a twisting cream that will last a super long time for your long hair, I would reccomend the Melanin Haircare Twisting elongating cream :)

Nice twists. I do them sometimes but I try to keep it between 10-16 of them because I am not spending too much time twisting tailbone length hair. Mostly I go for plaits since there's less unravelling with those. Have you tried plaits/braids?

I'm 16 years old I'm Half Japanese and African American born and raised in Japan, can respect you and look up to you for also being Blasian I don't know if you had struggles like me I was always bullied and hated on because I was Black none of the Japanese kids would play with me or hangout with me I literally cried all the time I almost wanted to kill myself but seeing you and other Blasian people I realize I am not alone and it's nothing for me to be ashamed of anymore thank you 👊💯
