There are dogs who just have to eat whatever their person is eating, no matter what. I never had trouble giving my dog medicine, I'd just pretend to eat it, making yummy noises like it's the best thing ever. Pretty soon my dig would demand a share, and down the hatch it went no matter how bad it tasted.
I read you should never give dogs chicken bones, because chicken bones splinter and may get stuck in the dogs throat. We learned this the hard way. Luckily we got the bone out of our dog’s mouth with pliers before he choked. Be careful.

Not true. Any bone, except for marrow bones, is edible when raw. All bones becomes dangerous if cooked, since naturally carnivores would eat it raw. Humans are the only ones that cook their food.

The bones will scrape and tear their esophagus and stick in their throat piercing the esophagus. Little shards of bone can also get stock in their gums. One trip to the vet because of chicken bones, the vet will chew your butt out, you will never do it again!

Raw bones are fine, it’s the cooked ones that splinter easily and cause issues.
Raw bones are a natural part of any carnivore's diet, that's why cooked bones are so dangerous. Humans are the only organism that cooks their food.
