Inside old people are the same young people they've always been. I was in college in the late 70s; these guys in the early 80s. We went to concerts such as Pink Floyd, The Who, The Stones, AC/DC, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Ozzy, Bruce, Rush, Neil Young, Alice Cooper, and lots more. Today's Classic Rock was the music of our day, and still is. I'm sure these two feel as I do, young at heart. So, when you interact with an old person, look through their aging body and into their being. You'll light them up. Each may have many great stories to share. We were there.
as an almost 61 years old and lifelong rock listener i don't care at all who's better........i love both them!
Now THAT ... was just absolutely fantastic! Two elderly musos of exceptional ability rocking the socks off the audiences and judges! As an elderly rocker (drummer) myself, I haven't experienced so much pleasure for many a year! Just give them the titles and call it (happy) days! May rock music live forever. It would be difficult to say who is the best but John Wine's selection of song and performance would win this round. I loved the look on Sofia's face as John changes gears.

We can't fairly judge over 60 years of experience. Personally, I'd lose respect for myself if I tried. Their dedication deserves appreciation without comparing or judging.
BOTH are incredible! and better guitarist than I will ever be! John is better.
The real question is who would win if they were in the finals against each other? I would say John Wine if he played a different song and at the start and ended up playing We Will Rock you at the finals but none the less they are both great and very talented
