petrol and diesel are made from petroleum which is a thing which occur naturally and take millions for its formation.... so as it becomes less the countries with most of this petroleum extraction allows to sell this in huge prices.... so that is why most of the tech countries like japan, us etc has changed mostly into electric... also you can check the price of gas(means petrol in US) in those countries.... it is so huge... but the population in US with respect to its land area is so so so less than india with huge population and a small land area...so unemployment is also a huge factor of india... even if the PM s change unemployment will be a huge problem and they cant do much than now

10y back in IT field starting salary is 15k still basic salary is 15k only but living cost is increased.
If my salary is 10L per annum I am paying 30% tax. So my annual income is 7L. Per month 58k. If I bought 1lt milk packet it will cost 70rs here tax is 5% it cost 3.50rs, like that on rice, pulses etc we are paying for daily usage products tax is 25%. Total I am paying 55% tax. From 10L I am just getting 4.5L per annum.
