I jus got my braid locs Sunday 🤗 loving it already and hairstylist did excellent job. I wanted my grid on point and mini braids total 🟰 341 she’ll retie as well..I researched for 3yrs and had my hair protective style in braids for a month and loved it. I was shocked that many didn’t know what I was talking about only mentioning microlocs 😮which I didn’t want..Anyways I found one 45min drive but worth it. I’m going to enjoy the journey not comb 🪮 my hair ANYMORE!🤸🏾‍♂️🤸🏾‍♂️.

Locs had alot of cons for me puffiness, frizzy, budding, 🙅🏾‍♀️ didn’t like the locs at all reason it took so long for me to decide. After researching I made best decision, I have long, curly thick hair, natural body and still this is my BEST decision

That sounds wonderful, I'm glad it is a ' best decision ', people rarely get to have that. Research and testing give the best decision. it always works🤍

I’m a few months in now.
I decided I didn’t want to get my hair done anymore so instead of going to the barbershop I got my box braids (starter locs) February 14th.
I love how I can wash my hair as much as I want to. I could never do that with two strand twists or comb coils. Even the frizz looks great. I think this method is great for 4c hair. My braids are only 2 1/2 months and still look fresh besides the puffy roots 😂.

Thanks for this! I started with 2 strand twist in 2021 and kept them for a year before I cute them off, I loved them but they were puffy and weird shaped. I wanted to reloc again so I tried coils but they kept unraveling!! Now I’m researching about braid locs and I sad I didn’t do this from the beginning 😭
I’m gonna start my braid micro locs next week 🫡

Thank you. Sis Aramide. I'm glad I found your video and I'm better informed. I will be restarting my braidlocs myself in January 2024. I will be going for smaller braid size, square parts with no middle or side parts, and should number about 70- 80. The ones I had previously were 55 in number, which became very large locs for my small volume of hair. It did not give me the desired look so I cut them. New year, new hopes, new dreams... All the best in your endeavours.

I just had braid locs now for 2 months and I have very curly hair and the shrinkage is incredible compare to the first time I braid it .:. I DIY my own micro locs myself total over 180 braids and I have decided aswell to use interlock 2 point rotation instead of twist ❤ your video is so informative aswell
