Hi Majid, for me the audio was average through headphones. Unless your a true Audiophile i dont think you would be unhappy with the sound quality. Thanks for dropping by the channel i really appreciate it.
I heard that the battery backup falls drastically if used with 2 sim cards and that the in call volume through earpiece is quite low like you can't hear in a noisy environment. I would appreciate if you can tell your experience in this regard. Also, will the front and back glass get scratch easily if used without tempered glass and back cover? Is the phone comfortable to hold as compared to modern 19.5: 9 aspect screens.
You mention that the 8.1 is $500 in Australia. They're currently $699 at JB HiFi which is $200 more than the IMHO vastly superior Oppo Reno Z. Nokia really like shooting themselves in the foot with their inconsistencies regarding their hardware and specs. Sad really as their windows phones like the 1040 and 1520 had top cameras at the time.
I'm new to your channel and I really like your presentation. I just have a few suggestions, although I'm no expert. I think it's really important to publish videos once in atleast 2 or 3 days like tech news, new gadgets, how to and explain tech. This would keep viewers coming back and ask viewers to subscribe via jokes. I hope my ideas could be of help and your channel go huge. I am sorry if I was being rude in any way, giving suggestions without any experience whatsoever.
Shubham this is really good feedback for me and i really do appreciate the feedback. I will try and implement a second video each week. Welcome to my channel.
Finally, a low-key tech reviewer. I loved your video. The Nokia X71, which has been released in China and Taiwan, is going to roll out worldwide as well. Also, the Nokia 10 with 5G and latest snapdragon chipset shenanigans could be released later this year. Should I wait for them or go for the 8.1 right away? Help me here. I'm sort of baffled.
Hi Sankalpa, thanks for dropping by the channel. It's hard to answer your question. The x71 is supposed to have a 48mp camera and 6gb of ram. Then the ten will have a high price tag. It might come down to your budget.
@@conorphoto Thanks for answering. I'm not so much of a heavy gamer, but might play the occasional medium to heavy graphics games. Will the SD 660 on the X71 suffice?
Hey i am new to ur channel, i liked ur presentation, just simple and to the point. Just want to know which camera is more superior, poco f1 or nokia 8.1, plz do reply with ur experience
Hi Pawan Pawu, thanks for stopping by the channel and for the compliments. To be fair i have never used the poco f1 so i couldnt really comment on whether its better or worse. The 8.1 wasnt bad accept for the selfie camera.
April 26 but still March security updates? Isn't this phone supposed to be updated directly by Google every month, being a member of "Android One" family?? P.S. What? $500 in Australia?? Please show me where you found that? Hope not of those dodgy online shops with no warranty? Coz all major brands in AU (JB, OfficeWorks, HN) have it for $699 without discount. This price even mentioned on the Nokia's offical AU web site.
@@conorphoto Wow, you must be a pretty good negotiator to lower the price for already discounted product! Anyway, what about security patch now, at the end of May? Hope it was updated since you took this video? I'm thinking about getting one for my wife. Either this or Pixel 3a. With the discount it ~$100 cheaper than Pixel 3a. (And I have Pixel 3a XL and the camera is not that much super-duper, as many reviewers claimed) What about cameras? Is Nokia camera still shitty? Or may be they managed to improve it with new firmware recently? Do, by any chance, you have some photos in their native resolution to share? Thanks.
Could you review the kove comuter Bluetooth speaker? They do sponsor some Vids and you can get is 65 percent off if you use some of the links in the description of sponsored videos Thanks
Hi Jo, thanks for the heads up. I have sent them an email to see if they want to work with me. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for watching my vid, cheers
Bit of a longer video but i think the Nokia 8.1 deserves it.
What is the audio quality through the headphone jack like? Is it clear?
Does it have deep amount of bass?

Hi Shubham, this could be the case, especially if they struggle to get reception but i didnt try it with 2 sims.

Should be ok. Medium graphics settings and no dramas.

Thank you yoda101. I appreciate the feedback more than you know. 👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
Nokia probably deserves more credit, but the Great LGs, motorola, and samsung have been falling in price so I guess its a highly competitive market
Definitely a tough market. Some of the OPPO phones are amazing.

Hi mate, I got mine on special. It was 569 and I bargained them down another 30. They are on special again right now at jb HiFi

@@alexanderrikmanis8753 Can't say about security update as I'm on Q beta. But the camera ain't the best. It's ok but the pixel would eat it for dirt.
The nokia 8.1 sells for 300€ in Finland...

Hi Golan, thanks for your support. Anything you want covered on the Nokia 8.1?
Wonderful review
Thanks Michelle.

Not really. It's about 1cm shorter than my note 9.
