note that they also suffer from riveting issue and bent receiver issue. but i dont think they have any effect on performance. if it works, it works in my opinion
The riveting issues that have been seen have been a few being not *completely* flush but still tight and functional (vs GHK having straight up loose rivets). Receivers are not “bent” in the GHK sense either where the entire thing is warped, only in the sense that there’s a slight taper of ~1mm towards the front end where it’s riveted. Complete nonissues and literally better quality than a lot of real AKs.
@@GaosenKinetics Interesting, I haven’t heard of anyone bringing this up, I’m gonna look into it. Also really cool, I knew that real AKs can have a huge varietal of specs but not riveting issues!
I’m pretty sure this is as much travel as they can do without negatively impacting the performance. Also I think it’s a little over 3/4 of the full travel.
@@Airsoft_ChayIncreased travel lenght wouldn't impact gas efficiency (the valve closes early so from 1/3 the travel onward it's all momentum) The problem is the bolt carrier design itself: the OG is kinda short, to accomodate a nozzle and the space for gas to expand and make it cycle well, it needs extra space, so they make BCGs longer
@@kakuwave Yeah I know, I was also referring to not having enough space in the nozzle being the problem. It should be common knowledge that travel distance doesn’t matter that much.
