Taiwan has so many places you can visit and many more different activities you can do. Go for offshore islands, they are gems and not many people know about them.
Clinton, just to let you know…The Famous Din Tai Fung has multiple Restaurant Branches in your Home Country/Continent of Australia, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the United States. You can take your Lady on a date to Din Tai Fung, when you guys are back home in The Land Down Under.
You can see the nice view of Taipei from the elephant mountain. The only thing I want to complain about is so many steps that you have to climb first. I went there one time in March around 5 pm or 6 pm. When I got the view point, my shirt was all wet. My knees were sore. But it was worth to see the view after I got there. (I like the sunset view better than the day view).
Yeah I definitely should have added the sugar. I don’t like drinking anything too sweet. But it definitely needed a little sugar in mine. I will add next time for sure! 😂
@@therealopenroad haha Taiwanese don’t like it too sweet as well. Many shops now go half sugar by default and I like mine 20% sugar. You will get a weird look from others if you got it full sugar as well. I’d say most people do 25-50% nowadays.
@@cheng-enwang1299 Thanks! We’re from Australia. We stayed in Taiwan for about 2 weeks. Would have loved to stay longer and explored regional Taiwan. We will next time though. 😎
@@johnnylin0924 Year we heard October is the best time to visit. Next time we will definitely go in October. Although the heat doesn’t bother me too much.
Taiwanese Australian here. Whatever you do, do NOT go to the Din Tai Fung in Melbourne! It's definitely NOT the same as the ones in Taiwan! I don't think it's owned or run by Taiwanese!
The Country of Taiwan aka The Heart and HIDDEN GEM of Asia is the MOST UNDERRATED ASIAN COUNTRY OF ALL TIME. Taiwan is also One of the MOST IMPORTANT COUNTRIES IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. And, it’s all because of TSMC. I would argue that Taiwan is probably #2 in the ranking of The Most Important Country in the Entire World. And, the Netherlands is probably #1 in the rankings, because of ASML. Without these two Powerhouse Countries, everyone would all be F**KED. One more thing, y’all should eat The Famous Taiwanese Mango Shaved Ice. That's another way that the Taiwanese cool themselves off.

Steph's so gorgeous !! I clicked in the video seeing her on cover.
What a cute couple.
I agree. So you’re saying I should never leave Steph out of the thumbnail? Haha 😂
It’s a pity that Taipei’s click-through rate is not high. Taiwan is an underrated gem country. Friends, how does it feel to travel to Taiwan?
100% agree! We enjoyed it! We loved the food and the vibe. We are keen to explore outside of Taipei next time though.
@@therealopenroadtry Tainan next time!! Super good 👍

Really nice video. Taiwan is an amazing country!
Thanks!🤝
Wow, so beautiful!!! Unbelievable, like cyberpunk style

Yeah definitely worth the view. Great idea for the sunset view! We didn’t think about going for the sunset view. 😎
Love your latest adventure in Taiwan- thank you both for Elephant Mountain - spectacular and sure you need a Bubble Tea after that hike 🕊️
@@msbevelynn4362 😀
Taiwan’s island-type weather is very hot and humid in summer, so you need to drink more water.
🎉🎉🎉Welcome to Taiwan

Bubble tea with no sugar is unusual because topioca balls is considered a dessert

There is no wrong way to eat the Xiaolongbao. I was taught to dip into the sauce first to cool it down for a few seconds, then to eat it whole.
I think this is the way I prefer to eat it. A lot easier and quicker. 👍
Welcome to Taiwan. Are you two from Sydney coz you don't sound like you are from Melbourne which was where I used to live?
Thank you ! I’m (Clinton) originally from Perth but Steph’s lived in Melbourne her whole life. A few people have said the same to me about my accent.
For me as a Taiwanese I don’t want to go outside during peak summer. October is a better time in my opinion.

@@infinity.mountain oh really? Good to know! I love it. I thought it was a type of mushroom/fungus.
@@therealopenroad It's a species of fungus, but people usually don't classify it as a mushroom
No sugar no good drink for Bobtea
Steph had sugar and hers definitely tasted better than mine. I’ll get sugar next time though for sure!
If you have Mandarin caption will definitely improve your views.
Hey! Mandarin captions are active?
I think so. Many Korean You Tubers do Mandarin/Chinese captions. Mandarin is Chinese traditional for Taiwan.
