Tools Needed:
You will need a10mm open wrench and a socket wrench, flat-head screwdriver, and panel clip removers.
Replacing your 2014-2022 Q50 fender panel is not as complicated as it may seem. Removing the headlight is necessary to uncover or get access to other fender bolts. The rest of the fender is a combination of plastic push-pins and moe bolts. Our vehicle's fender liner was petty much destroyed in the accident, so removing it was petty easy. Don't forget to remove the bolts and clips along with the fender liner to the bottom of the bumper. This Q50 sport has rocker panels or side skirts that cover up the lower fender bolts. Carefully pop this molding off with your plastic panel clip remover. The last thing you want to do is scratch the paint on your vehicle. You do not have to remove the top inner fender bolt. You just have to loosen the bolts to remove the fork part of the fender. The rest of the bolts to remove are on the top under the hood.
When you mount the fender, be sure to put the fender behind the bracket on the door. Otherwise, you will not be able to insert the second inner-door bolt. The most important and sometimes unnoticed part of this the alignment of the hood and fender. Do not fully secure the fender until you drop the hood to make sure that the alignment or gap is adequate. Check the opposite side of the hood and door to make sure the spacing is accurate. Once you feel comfortable with the spacing, you can secure the bolts. If the spacing is off, you can adjust the fender by pulling it out and securing the screw.
In this video, we replaced a right passenger side fender. And, both the right and left driver side fenders fits years 2014-2022 Infiniti Q50.

What’s the part called that’s under the passenger headlight? Mines broken and don’t know what that part is called. The black plastic I feel like it supports the headlight don’t know for sure
Is is the part on 1:57? That is the front fender core support bracket. It's some sort of extension for the fender. You're best bet is to take your broken piece and locate the part # or bring it to a dealership so they can match it. Please follow us, it helps us a ton, take care!
I'm having trouble removing the driver side fender because the door is jammed .. How should I go about this ? ...I intend to remove and replace the both doors and fender on the driver side
It's hard to say without looking at the vehicle. If the fender is pushed into the door or the door just won't open? Just start by releasing the tension on the front side o the fender. You can usually pull the fender forward a little. Depending how bad it is, you just have to remove the fender. I believe the door hinges are under the fender, so do your best to pull that fender out. There are only bolts near the door. You may have to drill the bolt out form the fender side. The top bolt can be take off by an open wrench if you can get your hand in there. We hope this helps. Hello, I have two questions. I have a damaged fender liner on my Q50. If I just want to replace the fender liner, do I have to remove all the parts you removed prior to the fender liner?
Also, where can I find replacement bolts/clips for it? It looks like some of mines are missing.
Hello! No, you do not have to remove the fender. Just take a light and find all the clips and screws that hold the fender liner to the bumper, fender and shell of the engine bay. It should be pretty easy to remove the fender liner. We recommend just going to your Infiniti dealership to get any missing clips/bolts. They will give you exactly what you need. If you got an auto parts store, the clips are about the same price but their generic and may not fit. Thanks for watching!

Do you have to take the headlight out (I’m doing a G37x)
You probably do not have to. I think we did it so you could see the fender a bit better. There is a bolt underneath the bumper that you have to remove. It was broken on our fender but that is the bolt. Thank you for watching!
What is the name of the module that is on the right side radiator support next to the horn.
That is a great question and I do not recall what what that module was for. I tried looking at some diagrams but none that I found had the module listed. You're best bet is to ask an Infiniti parts rep and describe the part and location. Infiniti is pretty unique in having those fender braces. They should pinpoint what it is pretty quick. Good luck!
How much would a repair like this cost?
It honestly depends on the shops, labor & material cost. An install is normally around $150 + part, paint and labor. So, you're definitely looking at more than $500.
