AI has definitely sprung to the forefront in 2023. Pollution in the form of billions of pounds of bits of broken plastic in the oceans, forever chemicals like PFAS, endocrine disrupters and wild animals going extinct. We will probably have boston dynamic type robots before we have replicants.

Why does Ridley Scott play a role (either directs or produces) every movie adapted from the works of writer Philip K Dick?? Do they share a strong relationship...
Thanks for mentioning it didn’t know that. But to answer your question in my opinion it’s harder for Ridley to write a script as he is more a visual type of human as I am always looking for books interesting me and bring to life on a set as producer as he mentioned in the beginning of the video for him it’s harder to come up but once is there the pictures in his head pop up and he can actually start the film process. Futuristic movies are usually so far off in their prognostications. They get lucky with some of the small things, like technology, but over-estimate the big ideas. Politics is the greatest wild-card that determines outcomes.
