What a sad country we live in. There are stories of women bleeding out in the parking lot turned away. Not getting care for miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies. Horrendous GOP.
@@karenhardie1132 So short-sighted and ignorant. The GOP can't form a vision outside of their own ego.
@@karenhardie1132 They don't care
@Here4TheHeckOfIt I just read about a case of a guy driving his bleeding wife to another state. She was in excruciating pain for hours. She went to a hospital and they told her to get out. They would not help her. They want to get rid of clinics that are helping women. Birth control will be next. Then, women can have a kid every nine months until menopause. Absolutely mind-boggling. Carrying dead babies, infections, no d and c help. GOP has lost it.
@@Here4TheHeckOfIt they have a vision. They're fascists.
Fun fact: the cost of airlifting a patient is $10,000 at minimum.
I hope lawyers take these cases and charge the state and law makers the medical bills that directly caused this to happen.
And they're undoubtedly billing the patients for it.
@@Joy-zh9fqyes! They have to learn somehow.
@@AG-iu9lv yes they do. Oh and if they’re dispatched and you are unable to fly for whatever reason and they have to turn around you will still get charged (because the fuel they used to fly to you 🙄)
its pretty crazy cause while helicopters are fairly expensive to run its no where near the cost they charge, they will charge like 50k for a Heli that costs 5k to run at the absolute maximum.
I can't understand why a woman would support Trump.
Or The Republican Politicians.
Because they are convinced you can legislate evangelical beliefs onto the entire nation. What they don’t realize is a country run by the Church will mean oppression for all including MAGA. If they understood this trump would get very few votes.
Religion. Fear of their own family. Legit thinking it will never effect them.
Ignorance maybe. Republicans are good at making terrible policies sound as good as possible.
Brainwashed.
Oh yeah, nobody saw this coming, except women have been screaming this since before Roe and Dobbs fell.
But it's not like anyone listens or cares about women 🙄
it was never about the fetuses!
It is about controlling others.
And distraction
Just the fact that doctors are second guessing themselves due to the threat of prison says it all. This is about who controls water, not saving babies. The RNC is deader than 80s punk.
All medical bills should be paid by the state that forced the patient to incur the expenses.
Being told that “ no we can’t do anything about that mass we found in your uterus that looks like cancer cause you might be pregnant “ to a woman in her 60’s
This is exactly why abortions shouldn't be banned and the anti-choice groups should mind their own business.
Right
@@seanmccartney5177Yep, losing the ability to try again for a healthy baby or to, you know, live, sure is “inconvenient”. 🙄

@seanmccartney5177 I will never accept it or "get use to it" - I'll resist these despotic tyrants even after I go through menopause- unlike the boomer women that support the GOP.

And red states are already the poorer states. Think before you vote red people!!

Idaho hospitals are going to go bankrupt. Providing air transportation to another state is very expensive, that’s not a sustainable business practice.
Nobody said they do it for free.
@@malindaallen718
No but people wont go to that hospital if there's a chance of a 'hidden charge' that's (far) more expensive than travelling to another state.
The patient gets the bill, not the hospital.

Clearly some people didn't see it coming, like Alabama, otherwise, they would have worded the laws better.

Save America, vote BLUE!
I hope those seeking sterilization are actually able to obtain it. Perhaps it's easier for women now, but when I wanted tubal ligation 20 years ago, the answer was unequivocally "no, you are too young."
Now I am 44 years old and asking myself if years of hormonal contraceptive use contributed to my developing breast cancer. I will never know the answer for sure, but I am resentful nevertheless.
For every person reading this, I urge you to advocate for yourself concerning your own health care. Do not accept no for an answer. Grill your doctor without mercy if you do not like or do not fully understand what you are told. The doctors do not know everything. Many do not bother to keep up with the latest research. I urge you to keep asking questions and changing providers until you receive the care you need.
Good luck, and best wishes ❤
It took three consecutive years of telling my gyno with a dead eyed stare that I wanted a tubal ligation before he decided I was serious. Mid twenties, married.
My husband, seven years older, had a vasectomy to save me from the invasive surgery. Immediate appointment, no pushback, an uncomfortable weekend.
I hated being on hormonal birth control because it messed with my emotions (but did clear up my acne 😉). Plus I would sometimes forget to take it and then have to be worried until my next period. This was around 2000 in Delaware.
Romania once tried it. It was a disaster but anti-choice never learn and never care.
The images of those orphanages and the lifelong suffering of those children was awful. So cruel.
Just curious, but how did it turn out? Do you know?
I actually have given some thought to encouraging my daughters to get their tubes cauterized to save themselves a world of hurt. Thanks Florida😡😡😡
I got pregnant at 15 and gave my baby up for adoption. I decided that if I wanted children I would adopt. At 23 I had my tubes cut and cauterized. Excellent decision. And I have 5 stepchildren. I wouldn't talk anyone into having their tubes tied this way because it is permanent but I would point out the positive aspects. They could also have them tied but not cauterized if they have doubts. I would say, think quickly before the right realizes women have this option. Being men, they can't imagine a woman would choose this route. Very best to you and your daughters.
Why whahmen dont just close their effing legs???
@@vinipcplayer Why don't men just control their snake?
@@strangerinastrangeland3613 we do...if you are a woman you have no Idea what is to have a thing between your legs that get hard 11 to 14 times a day...if men had the amount of s3x that we desire society would not exist...women used to gatekeep s3x...but today they are givin up easy and dont want to deal with the consequences
Additional consequences to #4. No pap smears means fewer cervical cancer cases get diagnosed early. Meaning higher medical bills and more cancer deaths. I had really bad cramps and was suspected of having endometriosis. Luckily I don’t. The only thing that got the cramps under control was birth control pills. Before BC pills I sometimes took narcotic pain killers. Don’t we have a bad enough opioid addiction crisis. This means more women taking narcotic drugs meaning more chances of addiction. Adding to the already problematic opioid crisis.
We are about to watch a country go extinct because of their govt's stupid choices in real time.
Atleast my 3rd world country is more developed not to make moronic chouces regarding healthcare, than the supposed richest country in the world.
The US is a glorified 3rd world country where being unhoused is now criminal. At least poorer countries have areas people can build shacks to live in. In the US - the unhoused are forced to live in tents, even when it's well below freezing. It's barbaric and gross.
@@Arisaem Ironic, as the term '3rd world' actually means a country who refused to receive financial support from both the 1st world (US) and 2nd world (Russia) country.
Basically, we aren't sell-outs like Japan and Korea.
@@sumimasen_wtf I've never heard that creative definition before, but most countries do accept some foreign aid. If you Google your country and foreign aid, you might have to retract.
@@LulaMae21 We have diplomatic relations with both US and Russia, along with many other countries around the world.
We have trade negotiations with them, like many other countries as well.
We don't receive any foreign aid like Korea or Japan does. And we refuse to, considering the innumerable invasions we faced from different nations.
We don't need the colonizer aid.

Get Americans behind petitioning Congress to introduce a bill. Add an amendment to the Constitution. "Congress shall pass no laws impeding the treatment of a patient by their healthcare professional."
Easy peasy get legislators escorted out of making decisions for doctors and patients. Gotta be licensed to practice medicine after all.
You trust doctors that much ? How did that work out for you during COVID? Let me guess you have 10 Covid boosters?
Murdering babes isn’t health care only simp men would think it does
Then conservatives would outlaw the OB/GYN profession instead of strangling it.
@@nightfall3605 a lot of truth in current hate politics... Wouldn't bat an eye to hear some right extremist proclaim there's no need for them. Pregnancy natural, all they do is prescribe birth control and advocate for abortions...
This is part of why brain came up with this amendment. Lawmakers practicing medicine based on prejudices. Not safe.
Many people did see this coming.
It’s not just patients going into debt, it’s all of us.

I have never been so proud of an amazing advocate - such a great advocate for people who have uteruses.
"People who have uteruses?" Oh, you mean women!
@@IAmSuperStick Yes, women, children and trans men. In other words, people.
@@scorpioigor Right, females. Thanks.
The term you meant to use is WOMEN. WOMEN are the people who have a uterus, no matter how much some people with severe delusions might try to pretend otherwise.
From the get-go, I figured these bans would lead to more abortions, not fewer, as women would rush to get them done in the early days of pregnancy, rather than taking time to weigh their options. Not so possible in states with total bans, but certainly in states with hard cut-offs.
for most people those hard cut offs are extremely strict and unreasonably to the point where unless a women is checking every single weak if they are pregnant (an unrealistic and expensive prospect) then they probably wont find out in time before the cut off. its not about taking longer to decide its about litterly not knowing your pregnant until after the cut off.
It’s almost as if healthcare professionals tried to warn us and we didn’t listen or care who would’ve thought
