Stunning cards, Carrie! I love the look of alcohol inks. I don't own any, but I have used Sharpie markers on a glass palette and dropped 90% rubbing alcohol onto that. Then I place cardstock on the glass palette and smoosh it around. It's not quite as beautiful as the technique you shared, but, as you said, craft supplies are expensive. That way I can use my Sharpies and rubbing alcohol I already have and get something kind of similar. I also don't own a blower, so using an empty glue bottle sounds like a win. 😊

Thanks Dee. That method using the sharpies Is genius. I must give that a go. I love finding other uses for my supplies and find it very satisfying when I do ha ha so thank you for sharing your idea. If you do get alcohol inks, you really need only start with 2 or 3 of your favourite colours. I've added to mine every now and then over a number of years. Happy Crafting ❤️

Lovely cards again Carrie. I can’t use alcohol inks like these, as they make me feel funny, so I had to get rid of them. It’s a shame as I love the backgrounds you can get. xx

Hi Marlene. Yes, I totally get that. Guess I should always mention using them in a well ventilated area. I always open my window and door, but yes, I can also suffer if I do too much with them. I try to be fast as I do love the background that they give. Thanks as always. That is a great point as I am sure many others feel the same 💕
