I was in a strange town, feeling a bit miserable and grey. My thoughts where black. Living in a world full of pain and war. It was raining for several hours. Sudenly, the rain stopt and the clouds where moving away in a gentle brise. I walked just around a corner and there it was! A beautifull garden, full with colourfull flowers and bees! It was your art that was blowing me away! Thank you Lisa, you made my day!

Thank you again for sharing your imagination, skills and passion. Your more detailed explanation of your whys, when and how made even more sense in explaining your creative process. With your ink sandwiches, could you show side by side the half with the dried sandwich next to the half with your additional coloured layers and before stamping to show what you started with and and the final background you ended up with. Another amazing piece of art
I use pastel fixative . It’s no problem stamping on top. The pan pastels also contain binder and aren’t that powdery.❤️
This is so beautiful! I would love to try using pan pastels. Do you seal them before using the watercolor on top? Also do you seal your piece when you are finished and if so, with what?

Not really . I spray the pan pastels lightly with fixative. This provides a nice surface for stamping!😊

Hi Lisa, whats the difference betwen using gouache or acrylic paint to do tree blossom. Thanks xx
Hi Terri, acrylic paint is thicker and shinier when dry than gouache and not as easy to add layers on top. Acrylic is essentially plastic whereas gouache is water based pigment. It would still work to an extent if it’s all you have. An alternative would be white gesso which is chalky and has a Matt finish. I hope that helps!😊

Lisa, what is the very first thing you spray on the paper?
Picket fence and tattered straw distress oxide sprays. Everything is described in the materials section of the video .
