I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the kislux leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
Hey Steven! Do you still use this combo? How has the patina come through? I am trying to choose the color and im between this, the blue(ocean) and the brown(Sienna).
@@StevenMakesVids Does it look close to black or is it obvious that it's grey and not black. Basically, if a random person saw it in average indoor lighting would they say it's a black case or grey case? I've seen some patina photos online that look almost black with this Slate colour
Just received my slate Bullstrap yesterday. First impressions…ummmm definitely not blown away, But I do love how it feels in hand. Sorta has the same finish like some of the Blackbrook leather cases. This should patina very nicely.
I’m thinking the same thing. This slate has a nice color to it. Would definitely shine if I had the natural or white titanium but gray works with any color.
@@StevenMakesVids Thanks. I’m eligible for a upgrade soon and Apple no longer makes leather cases. Trying to decide between the grey and bourbon. Both look great!
@@StevenMakesVids no it does not patina into a darker grey mine has gone almost like a green definitely loved the colour when new but looks very dark when I used it a couple of times wish it would stay grey
All I ever really had was leather cases..just something about them. Recently I’ve been into very minimalist aramid fiber cases like Benks and Pitaka. Andar and Blackbrook have been my go to as far as leather cases but neither has a lifetime warranty to my knowledge. I love gray as well, and think it would pair well with my blue titanium pro max. The open bottom never bothered me, I have apple care +, plus the old apple leather cases were open bottom and my phone never was damaged from drops.

Do you have an update on the patina?

Definitely felt the same at first but when the patina hits is when the case really shines!

How does grey leather patina? Does it look better over time like the browns do?
It patinas into a darker gray. Personally I love it

i love this color and would order one except I want a closed bottom, I hope they add slate gray to the new "contemporary" line other than Sienna
I thought the same thing but loved the color so much I decided to try the opened bottom out. So far I love it and have no ragrets
Thank u for the review!!! It’s hard to find any for the bullstrap slate products.
